Default Beta HCG at 5 weeks

    Hi Everyone,
Thank goodness for finishing the 2WW!!

ON MOnday I had my bHCG done and was super surprised to find that is was 1350!!
Aside from feeling a bit seedy - I have no MS, or any other symptoms.

I would love to know what bHCG levels and symptoms everyone else has- it would also be really nice to find out that 1350 isn't so high....

    Hi there....
I have also just recently got my BFP - I have 2 transferred on 29/2. My bHCG at 4w1d was 427 then 3 days later at 4w4d was 1867. I have my next B/T on Weds (5w3d) so will be interested to see what it is then. I also have no symptoms apart from some mild queasiness

Hi, I got my BFP confirmed with a hcg test on 14/3/12 (last Wednesday). This was 16 days past egg collection (12 days past 4-day transfer on 27/3). I had 2 transferred.
My hcg was 651, which I thought was quite high for 4 wks 2 days (which is what I worked it out to be). Had a scan the other day, though, and my FS only saw the one sac, so I guess it's not twins!

    HI TreeGirl and Quartz!
I am so glad that your numbers are as high/higher than mine. I had 2 beautiful blastocysts returned too. At the time I was A OK with having the possibility of twins but as always when it comes to the crunch..... well look I would be happy with whatever the universe see fit but two seems like an awful lot

Congrats TreeGirl on the USS that is wonderful news- I can't wait to get my first look at our little raspberry.

Quartz when do you have your USS?

    Have a lovely afternoon.

    Default Calculating weeks of pregnancy???

    Hi again,
I also meant to ask when are you calculating your pregnancy from-
    last period?
    date of ovulation/EPU?
    or date of embryo transfer?

I don't think that I am doing the calculation properly
    My last period was 5/1
I had my EPU on Wed 22/2
I had blastocyst ET on Mon 27/2

I thought that I would be 6 weeks tomorrow (calculating from approx last period)..... is that right???

    Thanks!
    RQ

    Hi again,

My scan is not until 3/4.... Am very anxious waiting as my last 2 bfps there were no heartbeats at scan.

The nurses at my clinic told me that BT day (11 days after transfer) made me exactly 4 weeks, which means I am 5 weeks today and would make me due 18 Nov but I'm not sure if that's right or not

I found this website http://www.ivf.ca/fet5dayduedate.php and it says I'm 5w2d today and due 16/11 so not exactly sure

    www.betabase.com.au says median beta for a singleton at 21dpo (i.e. 5wks) is 1258, so you're spot on.
For calculating gestation, EPU is day 14 (2 weeks) because doctors get "upset" if you don't ovulate on day 14. That then removes all the variability from how well you stim, whether you did LDR for ages, etc. and puts you on a standard footing with the textbooks.

Congratulations Rosequartz, My HCG at 16dpo was 600 and then at 21dpo it was 2575. I was really shocked and my FS warned me that even though i only transferred one day 5 blast it was in the “Twin range”. I have since had my first u/s at 7weeks which showed 1 bub. Those tables are so varied and there is such a large scope of levels, everyone really is individual. Your first u/s will give you an accurate EDD, i have used a few websites and had three different EDD dates, none of which have given me the date my OB has now confirmed and locked in.

Hi there, mine was around 900 at 16dpo, so at 5 weeks it would have been way into the 1000's.
