Ensure it's breast milk in the bottle, at least to start with, if possible. Offer when the baby is really hungry. And persevere because it can take ages. I haven't personally done this with a child of mine but when one of the babies started day care in our room she had to be converted from breast to bottle. Her mother ended up having to come in at lunch time to feed for a little while as it was a tough transition. It did all work out in the end though.

Persevere persevere persevere... I have just recently got DD to drink from a bottle, she was BF'ed for 4 months and I had to return to work full time so had to get her to have a bottle. She fought with me for 2 weeks and finally one day she just took it. I think it was a combination of persevering with expressed BM and also giving her tastes of solids at the same time. We weren't feeding her solids just letting her taste different things. She has been taking the bottle perfectly since that day, it made me sad though as after 3 weeks she wouldn't BF anymore :-( so success to get her to have the bottle but not successful at keeping her BFing at the same time. Hope this helps it can be challenging so dont get down on yourself if it takes a while to happen.
