    Default Have I forgotten anything?

I've read the bh list of what to pack in my hospital bag which I better do soon!

Would love to hear from csection Mums of there is anything particular you packed?

Got to buy some comfy undies - someone recommended Best and Less.
And face wipes was a must last time - I could cleanse my face and feel human before I got to shower.

The best advice I could give ANYONE getting a c/s is to pack some supportive shapewear undies (the kind that extend up to nearly under your bra). You'll be able to get up and down and move around SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier with your tummy muscles being supported like that.

Sometimes they offer you physio braces which are like big scratchy things you wrap around your middle (I paoid $60 for mine). I found support underwear to be far more effective, easier to put on and not to mention looking better under clothes. The difference in my ability to get around and look after my DD was incredible.

How exciting for you to be just about to have a bubby! Best wishes.

Thanks I never thought pf the shapewear - do you recommend a brand and how many pairs do you think I will need?

I also remember last time that I lived in harem pants - any suggestions on where I can buy some comfy bottoms yet nice enough to make me feel good lol? Will be having baby in may so it will be cool and I am a cold frog

    How exciting!

I lived in leggings & long tops or dresses after my c-section. I pulled them right up high (like harry high pants lol) & felt really held in too. It was nice & snug & didnt feel like my stomach was going to fall out like it can after a c-sect.

As for comfy undies, I bought mine in target. Big. Black granny style undies for $1 a pair. They were awesome! I think I bought about 15 pairs so if they got too "wrecked" id just chuck them out.

As for anything else I cant really think of stuff different to a VB... but yes face wipes are a must & also a can of dry shampoo! I felt unable to lift my arms up & wash my hair, it hurt too much so chucked a can of dry shampoo in it was excellent! My hair was shiny & "looked" clean when I had visitors, plus it just made me feel better too!

Best of luck! If I think of anything else Ill come back

Definitely agree with granny panties. I got cheap one from best and less. They were great and helped to support the wound as they were so high!

I was living in stretchy gym type pants with the roll down waist after my Caesar. I pulled the waist band up over my belly and found this helped to support the wound too. Think I got mine from Target.

Can't think of anything else specifically for Caesar delivery/recovery though.

    Default thongs not slippers

I took slippers and thongs, ended up having a c section and was grateful for the thongs as I could not reach over to put the slippers on - for a very long time. best wishes f

    Heaps of snacks!

I took straws in case I wanted to have a drink in the night and didn't want to go through the process of sitting up then lying back down.
