My husband usually mows on the weekends because he works 6 days and long hours during the week.

Normally he will do it when our son is sleeping. We usually go out together as a family on Sunday mornings, then when we come home, it's nap time for DS and that's when we do some housework.

I clean a little everyday, but usually Saturday morning is my big tidy up. After 3 days of rushing around for work, it's necessary because the house is a pigsty.

I personally view mowing in the same light as vacuuming..when it need to be done - it gets done.

It depends on the weather, our plans and the length of the grass/state of the floors in regards to the day of the week it gets done.

...little bit of cleaning here, little bit of yeard work there - do it as we go. (we are renovating though - so the house/yard always looks a freaking mess ..it is CLEAN..it's just a mess)

I chose #1 on the poll - as we both work everynow and then on the weekend.

I do the cleaning in bits, partly because I have fibromyalgia and spending hours cleaning would put me in heaps of pain, and partly because I don't care enough about cleaning to spend too long at a time doing it

DH works FIFO so he does mowing/housework during his time off. Usually on the weekday part so we can do 'fun stuff' on the weekend when kids are home from school and friends/family aren't at work.

As I said in the other thread we get our lawns included with our rent ($10 a week), I do a major clean once a week when DS1 is at kindy and spot clean throughout the day.
