Default Any one watching dr Phil today?

I'm watching the one where a 16 year old girl recorded her mum and dad beating her with a belt then posted it on the Internet.
Did any one else see it?

Omg, I just saw bits of the video footage and it has me in tears. How can someone do that to their child? That's horrible.

My dd is napping too, I was shocked.. But what I was even more shocked at was HOW could this mother stand watching her child go through that? Then participate? And now is acting like a victim!

If my husband ever did that to my children I would leave, or get him some help.

I mean yes you need to discipline children but smacking them with a belt (or belting/bashing in her case) is not an option.

It makes me feel for the children out there who are living in houses like that in those conditions or worse and no one knows

But isn't it great that recording and publicizing it was an option for her. I was just reading another thread that included horrible hardships from decades ago, if this had happened to her some years ago she would not have been able to prove it to get help. Thank goodness most of us are able to get help through the net! Ie bubhub lol

I remember watching it online when I first saw it on the news a few months back. Makes me sick to think that and worse goes on. I mean, I know it happens, but hearing her cries makes it that much more real.

The mother is victimizing and the father is an arrogant a**hole. He should NOT be a judge in a childrens court.
