Mine was worth $2500 but I paid $800 for it.

The store had a clearance store where they put all the discontinued lines and discount them. The only down side is that you don't have a huge range to choose from and it's what's there. So one day you might go in and find nothing and the next time you could find something.

They're great those stores, you can pick up some divine dresses etc at a fraction of the normal price.

Mine was a Sottero and Midgley for $1100. when I looked at it originally it was $2200, but I waited and looked at LOTS of other dresses and then decided it was the one. I went back and just the day before they had reduced it by half as they weren't going to be stocking it any more. I figured it was meant to be!!

Mine was $1500 straight off the rack, I got to take it home that day. $1800 including hoop and veil, and hem alteration (which I'm being fitted for tomorrow, woo-hoo!!) I think I was quoted about $160.

Mine was $1300, made to order. My sister the beautiful thing bought it for me as a present. Then the wedding fell through and I never got to wear it . I feel so guilty, it's still sitting in her wardrobe. But 6 years on, i still love it and it's still the dress I would choose if I had my time over. If I ever get married, I plan on wearing it. Not sure how DP will feel but with one less thing to buy, hopefully he won't mind.

The wedding dress I wanted and ordered 9 months before the wedding and had made and absolutely adore was $1400....

The wedding dress I wore on the day because I was 6.5months pregnant with twins and physically couldn't FIT INTO the above ordered, bought and adored dress.. was $200...

My advice... buy a dress off the rack and wait till a month before. lol... (you can get gorgeous dresses anywhere from $600 right up into the thousands straight from designers already made without having to order them)
