All they can do is provide people with accurate, up to date information, what people choose to do with it is up to them.. if they ignore it then so be it, but they are well-informed ignorers

    (would of loved a day off work though!)

    Lots of water over the roads out rural way. Gonna enjoy the drive home from work later tonight. Haven't noticed too much wind, but have been inside. Is it really bad in town?

    The rain has eased a little be safe and careful driving, I think they said mcmillans rd isn't flooded yet, wind is pretty incredible and temp has dropped heaps!!

    For all you darwin old timers I keep herring about the monsoon are we in that now? Is it going to rain more now? I thought I would rain heaps in the 'wet' season maybe the monsoon is wetter?

    OMG just went outside for a smoke ad the mozzies are sooooooo bad!!

    Oh and this year in my opinion has been the "driest" wet ever, yeah we have had heaps of rain but in big clumps, previous wets you used to be able to set your clock by 3pm it would be raining
