    i love giraffes too!
    at chiang mai zoo in thailand they have a big raised wooden boardwalk that goes into the middle of the giraffe enclosure so you are up high on this bridge. the giraffes all come up, stick their heads right up to you and you can feed them, pet them, get a big lick on the face!

    Naw yeah this was up on a fenced lookout too, but it was a tad higher, the giraffes head only came to about the floor of the lookout, so you reach down with the branches of acacia leaves.

    Feeding a giraffe was awesome - they do it at Dubbo zoo too. As we did their overnight program a few years back we also got to feed a rhino too.
