Kel, all the best. I have everything crossed for you ) I'm now just waiting for my 12 week scan on the 21 May and hopefully once thats over we'll be more confident and reassured that bub is doing fine. In the meantime still suffering alot from hyper stimulated ovaries and large cysts, awefully painful.

Can I ask who is Dr Nick that is being referred to?? What's the full name??

    Hi Maryz,
12 weeks is such a exciting step. All the best. l can't wait for then. My scan is on the 24th and l will be 7 weeks and 4 days. When the nurse rang to tell me my results my beta was 152. She said that was really good. so finger crossed.
Dr Nick is at monash and his full name is Dr Nick Lolatgis. He is all for the colorado protocol. ls that how you are with?

Good luck for your 12 week scan.

Kell72: Yes I am with Dr Nick Lolatgis and I think he's truly amazing. He's one of very few doctors in Australia who will agree to do the Colorado protocol, the others don't believe in it. I wasted over 3 years with another IVF specialist who wanted to do nothing different for me. Got pregnant first go with Nick on the Colorado. So I am sure it did the trick. We've been trying to conceive for over 9 years and this is my first pregnancy ever, I had some long breaks in between. I'm still on most of the drugs till week 16.
My first hcg reading was also 150 so that's fantastic. I had about 3 more after that. Have they scheduled you for more blood tests?? They need to see the levels doubling nicely you will be fine, fingers crossed. The 7 week scan is exciting as you will hear the heartbeat. Keep in touch.

Just1: good luck for Wed. I am also with Dr Nick Lolatgis. I really believe in the Colorado so stick with it Unfortunately the drugs continue to week 16 if you get pregnant. I am currently 10 wk 2 days preg. I'm also over all the drugs but it's worth it Fingers crossed.

    Hi Mary,

This is my Second pregnancy. l have almost 3 1/2 year old boy/girl twins. l got pregnant on my 7th full cycle. ln that time we had also done 5 frozen transfers. We had been trying for 7 years. We also had big breaks in between. As of the costs. l carried my twins till 38 weeks. My girl Abbey was 7.3 pounds and my boy Foster was 8 pounds. l have always had 2 transfered as my Embryo's are never viable for freezing. l am having a blood test on the 9th. Hoping all is good. l will see Dr Cullan after my scan on the 24th. Think another blood test after that. l am more worried this time as l am 40 at the end of the year and l weigh alot more than when l had my twins. l can only take one day at a time and hope for the best. Can't wait to hear how your 12 week scan goes.

    All the best Kel.

    Hi ladies,
Lannie, I have only made it to the blood test once out of the four previous cycles and started bleeding on the way to the blood test. Within hours i knew it was all over. The phone call came said I was but on the low side and I said I think by now it is all over.
So I woke up this am after a dream of doing a hpt and accidently dropping it in the toilet when it was just about two tell me. Woke up and decided to do one. Now I have a dilemma. I felt I needed to do one after the dream!Ok now I hope someone can help me. I didn't have the box/instructions and there was a line to say I was positive but beside the picture of how it should look the line ran the opposite way to the indicator! Omg can you believe it. Any advice anyone? and now today I went and bought another and only 1 to do another in the morning. What am I doing to myself as my blood test is Wednesday.
Kel thanks for sharing your story. I just want this so bad as I feel I don't want to do anymore cycles and I am now 40. Sorry ladies yes 40 and cannot work out how to change myself from junior to senior member.

My tummy is so itchy it's driving me crazy. I think it's the Clexane starting to give me side effects. Anyone experienced this?? I'm 10 1/2 wks preg and apparently have to stay on the Clexane till 16 weeks.
