Kath & Nicole83, thank you so much for your messages. It's been all good today. No more spotting thank goodness! Here's hoping it stays that way! It wasn't a nice scare last night!!

6 years trying, you poor thing are you OK now? Sounds horrible. Was it an infection? Do they know what caused the reaction you had?? Well I really hope you're feeling better now. I do remember when I went through it earlier this year I didn't stop bleeding after for 2 weeks. So don't worry if that happens to you too but I certainly didn't get the pain etc. Look after yourself

Kel, how are you and baby Olivia doing??

    Have a great week everyone!

Hi Girls, so sorry I have not been on for a while. I just checked the posts and and am so pleased to know everything is great with you Mary. Sorry that I was not there to support you.
Glad that all is going well with both Kath and Rae.
6 years of trying, sorry to hear that you were rushed to Hospital. Hoping that the fires are under control very soon. Thinking of you.
AFM, got home from Hospital on Wednesday. My little girl abbey is struggling with having a new baby in the house. Every time I say something to her she runs off crying. Not sure what to do. Olivia is amazing. I can't believe I could have such a beautiful baby. She is so laid back. Having a lot trouble getting over my c-section. Not as good as my first. Still in a lot of pain.
Can't anyone tell me how to add pictures? I would love to show you all Olivia. If anyone is on Facebook either, as my husband is on there and he has added photos.
Again, I am so sorry for not being there for you Mary. I am over the moon that all is well with bub.
    thinking of you all.
    much love Kel

Kel, so glad to hear from you. Please don't apologise you have always been an amazing support and I know you have your hands full at the moment All is good with me, it was very luckily a minor scare. I'm sorry to hear you're still in alot of pain. Arrggh the c-section really scares me! When you have time you'll have to tell me all about a c-section. I heard you can't get up for 24 hrs after but not sure if its true. Can't wait to see some photos of baby Olivia. I think it might just take alittle time for your daughter to adjust to new baby. Maybe try involving her when you're doing something for the baby and she might feel more excited! Well you look after yourself and hope the pain settles soon for you!

Kel, so good to hear from you. I am happy to hear that you are enjoying Olivia, but it does make it a little harder if one of the twins is struggling with it all.
I agree with Mary, try and get your other daughter involved, tell her you really need her help with certain age appropriate things, such as getting a nappy, or helping to burp Olivia, and afterwards tell her what a huge help she is.
I hate csections, and not looking forward to the next one, but I would rather bubs arrives safely, than risk rupturing my scar and possibly losing my baby.
Mary, I am so happy that the spotting has stopped, and bub is moving around, how reassuring is that? I often think of you and feel so happy for you that everything is working out this time after all of the years of ttc.
6yrstrying, so sorry to hear that you have had a hard time. Take care of yourself!!
Afm, I have got my monthly gp checkup today, I am a bit nervous about getting on the scales, after all of the chocolate I have consumed over christmas and new year. Its funny though, I am not even a sweet tooth when I am not pregnant, but totally loving it through out the last few months.
Oh kel, when I get on my pc later, I will work out how to add photos, and let you know. I am so keen to see some cute baby pics.
    Take care girls
    Kathy

Kath, try not too worry too much about the scales, we're bound to gain weight in pregnancy and after all it was the holidays I've always been a sweet tooth and unfortunately that hasn't changed in pregnancy. However, I can't stand the sight of meat and won't even touch my favourite lamb cutlets. It's weird! But chicken is ok. It seems pregnancy has put me off any red meat.

You know even after all the years of ttc and even though I am nearly 19 wks and the baby is kicking, I still feel on most days that this is unreal and not happening to me. For soooo long I was sure its just never gonna happen that I can't believe it is happening now. It will probably only hit me once I hold my baby in my arms, then I'll believe it! Till then I still worry at the back of my mind all the time and the scare the other day wasn't helpful. My OB must realize how anxious I am so he saw me on the Sunday

6 years trying, ouch your bowels shutting down on you would have been agony. I know it happens to some people after an anaesthetic so maybe keep it in mind if you ever have an anaesthetic in future.

Also in case you ever need it, my OB recommended Agarol which is safe whether you are pregnant or not and its for bowel/ constipation issues. It's a liquid, 30 ml in the evening works a treat! I've taken it a few times.

    Ok, happy now!
Probably because of all the work lately. But I am slowing down now, so will probably start gaining more from here on out!!

Kath, good news about the weight gain. Do you find you are less hungry in the second trimester compared to the first trimester? It's really strange cause I find I'm just not hungry in the second trimester. In the first 12 weeks I was eating heaps more and gained like 6kg or maybe even abit more and then my weight hasn't moved at all in the last 7 weeks. It's weird, I eat a few mouthfuls and I'm full. I've never been like that. I'm not complaining, really don't need the weight gain so long as bub is ok. My OB has actually never weighed me yet, maybe cause I'm overweight anyway, I don't know.
