Hi ladies, thought I'd let you know I'm still around... Reading but trying to stay off a bit, Dr orders... Lol
Every time I was on here I'd do my own head in 'symptom' spotting

Sorry for no personals. Just had to drop in quickly and have a woe is me moment.

Oh MY LORD this AF is a killer. Absolutely crippling cramps. I woke DH up last night to go and get me an extra strength advil. I took another this morning. I think it'll be an every 4 hours thing today. Hopefully it stops by tomorrow- I've got a job interview.

    Pretty sure you're right tigger!

Thanks stretched it is actually comforting to know that af will arrive & I don't have to symptom spot & drive myself crazy!

Wow. I think we just got our answer. DH has been diagnosed with a varicocele (malformation of a vein in the teste). They are linked to both sub-fertility (he has crap sperm) and first trimester miscarriage!

The ****ING doctors didn't even LOOK at his b@lls once through this whole thing. I'm so livid I could spit. He only went off to the doc coz I happened to feel it last weekend while we were DTD. If it had been noticed and repaired the first time we went for tests back last year maybe I'd be pregnant or have a baby by now.

I was also wondering what you all thought of creating a social group for us on BH where it's closed doors so to speak?

tiggerfields - wow, i hope it's something they can fix fairly routinely. i have heard of that and apparently it's the culprit for many infertility problems. i might go ask my husband if he has that too.. how frustrating if that's what it was all along.. but like delirium said at least you know now rather than in more years time.

afm, i have decided to have my cycle tracked this month. it costs $300 and i feel so guilty about spending money.. BUT i know that i need to do this. we had tracking in april and found it helpful in knowing when i ovulated.

Tigger- I would be so furious!!! I'm fairly certain that a friend of mines DH had the same thing and once her DH under went a quick outpatient op they were able to start fertility treatments. She fell with twins on her first IUI. I really hope they can do the same with your DH. Thanks for sharing your experience as well.

Del- I think a closed door group might not be too bad an idea. Do you know how to do this? IC= internet cheapies (of course) as soon as I read it that made perfect sense.

Loveable- what's involved with tracking a cycle? I used to do it myself using another website. I had to pay a small membership fee ($60 per year I think).

Sorry for no other personals. Hope everyone is okay. I've been on advil all day. AT least it's taking the edge off the cramps but they are still there
