Hi to the other recent joiners. Nice to meet you, but sorry to have to see you here! There is at least one good thing about this thread, and that is seeing how many people have moved on from a MC to another BFP - I hope it's catching and we all get it.

Yargh! Thought I was finally close to zero HCG when I tested with an IC HPT this morning and there was no second line. But when I checked with a slightly more reputable supermarket HPT, it's still a very clear positive. (Stupid cheap internet rubbish!) Tomorrow is 2 weeks since my D&C, so I'd hoped to be rid of HCG by now. I've at least moved on from feeling sad to being irritable, which is probably a good sign.

DH works part-time FIFO, and I've spent far too much time this week doing projections of what cycle would best fit in with when he's home over the next few months - as if I can influence it in any way!

How is this cycle going, NicT? Have you hit the big O day yet?

Tap - that's a positive sign. Who could have known how eager we'd all be to see AF?

I know exactly what you mean, Ardora. I hate that this whole business seems to be about odds, and even when you think the odds are finally in your favour, there's always a risk of being the unlucky statistic.

Gentoo I can totally relate. I never thought I would be so upset to see a ++ on a hpt.

I am only a week out from D&C so not entirely sure what I was expecting.

StormAngel sorry to hear about your bubs. Fx for a sticky BFP for all of us..

    .

If your still getting BFP 2 weeks out I would go to the docs and get a blood test my doc after both my natural and missed miscarriage insisted I get bloods done every few days untill it was zero to ensure it was 'over'

Afm I've been pretty quite on here since my mc I've been having alot of trouble sleeping and I've had sinus issues since a week before the mc DH was saying tonight that I've been snoring something evern he says I don't normally do unless sick and I've been waking up 3 or 4 time each night ive tried nearly everything to help and nothing seems to work and to add to the frustration DD ha started playing up with her sleeping times so not a happy mummy here I've given myself a 'medical holiday' lol and havnt seen any docs since the mc purely cause I'm kinda sick of it all and just needed A break after almost 3 yrs of doc lol

I'm currently cd 11 and I've been taking Vitex fishoil and elevit in the hopes that it will help my cycles so fx

Welcome Stormangel and mummyrhi. Sorry to see you here but I hope that you find it as helpful as I have.

I had a d&c for a blighted ovum 7 weeks ago now (I was 8 wks at the time). I didn't test my hcg until 4 weeks after and it was negative then. My AF arrived about 5 and a half weeks after my D&C. If I counted back 4 weeks from then, to guess when my hcg was back to zero, that coincides with when the bleeding stopped. It is so hard in that first cycle when you just don't know what is happening with your body. But be reassured that once AF arrived, I am feeling like I know my body again and much more positive that I can nail this TTC deal LOL

Angelis - have you tried changing your pillow? My DH snores when his pillow is too low but is perfect when he has the right one. Just a suggestion

AFM - I'm coming up to O time, I think the weekend will be it so let the fun begin We just got a new puppy on Sunday so he is keeping me busy and distracted which is refreshing. I feel like a mum already with frequent wee breaks during the night and having to constantly supervise him so he doesn't kill himself! He is gorgeous, cute and cheeky though so it's all worth it LOL

Angelis13 Have you tried the breathe rite strips? You get them from the chemist. They helped me a lot when I was all stuffed up.

NicT: It makes sense coinciding with the bleeding stopping. I am just super impatient and want to get straight back into it. I have never been one for waiting.

My OB said it is ok to try again straight away so I am going to have a go this cycle despite feeling like I am going in blind.

Yay for the puppy. I love puppies they are so cute and loveable

Good luck catching the egg on the weekend. Lol I can't believe I will be envious of thise in the TWW this cycle

DH came back from his pregnancy loss counselling session much, much better.

The day we went to hospital he didn't want to try again for a long time, and was feeling very depressed.

Today he's much calmer, doing the housework and cooking so I can stay in bed, and wants to try again as soon as we can. He's also researching miscarriage online so he knows what happened. The counsellor suggested getting to know the process so he'd know he wasn't to blame, and he'd feel more in control of the situation. It really helped

Wanting this bleeding to stop soon! It's only been two days but I'm sick of it!

Sorry I haven't been around much too many posts for personals....got my period today, 5 weeks on from the injection. So that's one full cycle 6 weeks to go before we can ttc again.

congrats to those with BFP, seems I'm the last one standing from our old group, that's kinda depressing

mummyRhi it is 4 weeks 4 days after my D&C that I got my period. I only spotted for a few days after my D&C and didn't bleed much at all. Got told no sex for 2 weeks.
2 weeks after the D&C my HCG was measured at 14. Was a few days after that I had large amounts of CM that was much greater than normal for me and I think I must have ovulated at about 3 weeks post D&C based on this. My cycle in the past has been reliably 27 days. I was told 4-6 weeks post D&C is normal for AF to start again.

delirium, it must be good to know that one cycle is over and you're getting closer to trying again. Even if it's depressing to think you're the last one standing, it is encouraging to me that so many others have progressed from this group, so hopefully you will be in the not too distant future too. Fingers crossed.

I will be much happier to know where I am at with my cycle I think. It feels like endless waiting right now.
