I don't have the irregular periods, the acne or the hair so I'm hoping the LH amount was just slightly elevated.

The secret to endo is naturopathy at 54 failed cycles with endo I saw a naturo, took a heap of pills so I rattled when I walked lol.... and was pg after 1 cycle

Did another OPK (after telling myself I wasn't using them anymore ) and I got a dark line not as dark as the control but based on previous months I got the surge later that night. CD 16 here so fingers crossed it looks like I will O.

Someone also suggested Maca root to me stretched for PCOS.I've heard good things about it. Vitex is fantastic for regulating cycles. Before DD I had up to 35 day cycles.

Lama sometimes our partners can surprise us can't they? My Dh could tell I was upset last week with his sister pestering us when we will have another and he put her in her place it was quite sweet. My hubby isn't exactly your typical supportive kind of guy he just says "don't stress", "everything will be ok". I'm glad you were able to coonvince DP not to go away, Good luck for April .

Del good luck catching the egg. With my PCOS I have syptoms such as abnormal hair growt on my chin (it is actually quite embarrassing for me) I am constantly looking to see if any have sprout up and I pluck them immediately so no one knows i have this problem. I have irregular and painful periods but they are not overly long IYKWIM maybe 4 days of bleeding and a couple just spotting. I always get a period every 5 to 6 weeks so i don't think mine is a big problem. Thank goodness. You can have the polysistic ovaries without the syndrome but my Doc says i have the syndrome because my testosterone levels are elevated, has your GP tested yours? I am also overweight but i don't know if that is due to the hypothyroidism or not. I hope that gives you an idea of the symptoms that are associated with it.

Is hypothyroidism part of the PCOS? As I know she tested for that. According to the test results she didn't test for testosterone, only FSH, LH estrogen and progesterone. Reading comments about this disorder it doesn't fit for me.

Well after the darkish OPK at lunch I did another after tea and it was almost stark white again lol I think the lunch time one was my surge as I'm 90% sure I o'ed yesterday. Had all the right symptoms. We've BD'ed 5 out of the last 6 days 2 fingers crossed this is our month

I don't think they are related Del but they sort of combat eachother because I need to lose weight to get the PCOS under control and my thyroid won't let me. I'm glad you don't have the symptoms i think it would be unlikely you would have the sydrome then which is great news. I think you are well prepared this month i hope you caught the egg, I have everything crossed for you.

    Hi ladies

    How was everyone's weekend?

Nothing much to report here. I am currently 6dpo so I won't be testing anytime soon but it is exciting and terrrifying wondering if we were able to conceive this month especially so soon after a D&C.

Good luck to everyone in getting a BFP!

Ooh FTM you musn't be a POAS addict like me - I'd have tested already! Fingers crossed for you!

LilMuffin - my chin was my problem too. Electrolysis sorted it though - not sure if laser works as well because it only works on dark hairs - it took a while and cost a bit but so worth it now I don't have to check my chin twice a day (they seriously can sprout 1/2cm in 12 hours don't they!!

Del, doesn't sound like PCOS - probably just your body still sorting itself out. I hope you Od and caught the eggy, I'd keep DTD every 2-3 days just in case you didn't and O a bit later this cycle too!

I don't know if it thyroid is related but PCOS and Hashimotos Hypothyroid (and arthritis) both run in my family so I would not be surprised if they find an autoimnune link to PCOS down the track.

Lama - so nice to hear a good DH story! (Mine's in the bad books today! Grrrr... - nothing TTC related tho, just the usual men and their mates BS).

Exciting to see we've got some girls moving off the graduate threads! I hope there are more on the way.

Well after all the questioning over faint OPK's around days 13-16 and whether I O'ed at all, I got the surge last night on CD17 4 days later than normal but a very dark line. Poor DH I think I've worn him out, every day for a week I think has tuckered him out

Lol Del that's what i am like with my DH. I have actually enjoyed having a break from ttc because I don't feel like I have to DTD I just want to IYKWIM. Good luck with catching the egg.

Stetched I had never thought that the hairs could have been PCOS related, I have had the problem for years but only just been diagnosed and now it makes so much sense. Does electrolisis hurt?

FirsttimeMum 6 dpo not long to go now, will you wait till AF is late?

Nothing new for me to report because I'm not allowed to try but AF is due in a few days so that's exciting...NOT. Then only one more month of no trying then back to the doc.

Problem is I haven't had AF since December because that's the month we conceived so I don't know when AF should or shouldn't arrive so I won't know when it's late? Does that make sense? I imagine that I should get it sometime by 6th March if we didn't manage to catch the egg? God I hope we did catch it though!

To be honest I don't think I'd test until sometime mid April ... just to be sure.

How's this for funny/amazing/wow or whatever you wish to call it. I ovulated this month on the exact same day I ovulated in December when we conceived. I ovulated 20th December and we fell pregnant. After being pregnant and miscarrying and then having a D&C I still managed to ovulate on the 20th March exactly three months later. How amazing can the human body be???
