If you look in the BH shopping directory you'll find heaps of good shops & sites for maternity clothing.
Earlier this year I got a nice new with tags dress off ebay quite cheaply.

Good luck and have fun shopping!

I was at Target and Kmart today and they had really nice stretchy black dresses that were about $40, snazz up with some accessories???

Last time I was preggers I had a few weddings/21st to go to and wore a black halterneck stretchy dress from Glassons, always got a good comment (maybe they were just being noice..) Just changed the bling/shoes....

    Good luck, just an idea!

Yeah, I reckon you can, I usually do- did last month to a wedding in Sydney. Just my opinion tho! I think it's all to do with how you carry yourself iygwim!

    Default maternity dress

Hi - Im not sure if you have an "Ojay" store near you but i just bought a dress from there - not maternity but with the fashions at the moment it worked perfect - u can get it in red or a deep blue its in a V at the front and back with a ribbon under the bust - not sure of your budget - it was $260 - good luck - I think black is ok to wear too..

Oh, my great giddy aunt, can you wear black to a wedding?! OF COURSE you can wear black to a wedding! Its great post-partum too when you still maybe (like me) have a post-baby belly!!

I've seen a couple of nice dresses/nice skirt and top combos in Pumpkin Patch maternity too, and the great thing about PP is that it doesn't cost the earth!

    Have fun at the wedding

I've been eyeing off some clothes from the Mango Jam website, so maybe have a look there. They have a sizing chart, but I know this isn't the same as trying the clothes on.

In my opinion black to a wedding is fine, especially if it's helping hide the bump.
If anyone sees the sleep fairy, can they please send her my way

I tried on a great dress in target the other day but didn't buy it because I have nowhere to wear it It wasn't maternity but fitted fantastically over my 6month belly (i'm a size 10 too) it's mid calf length and falls from under the bust. It has a spotty b;ack net overlay, a satin ribbon under the bust and a cross over front which covers maternity bras well. Very pretty and only $60 maybe worth a look.
