    I'm lost if you can get your kids put on a medicare card (so free health care) why would you be needing to pay $6000 per child for schooling . Ah I would be looking into it more because that doesn't add up.

    Ok we applied to become citizens the guy took our application asked a bunch of questions, took our marriage certificate etc gave us a letter stating we were on a bridging visa and told us to take it to Medicare so we did and got our card. The school part is through the education department the kids didn't come on student visas so they cost more

    I am going to research more like you guys suggested to make sure I know the full details don't want to get in over my head especially when I am taking a 3rd job this month might be too much I am thinking

    I read your other thread. Yes you can look at doing home schooling through America, however there will still be a cost involved.

    Can I also ask why you would home school and work 3 jobs? If hubby stays home with the kids, why can't he be the educator?
