Well, got a BFN this morning. I am 12DPO and AF was due yesterday. She still isn't here... Hoping she doesn't turn up and it's too early for the test to show up :-) I'll test again tomorrow. Do you guys think FRER are the best? Suggestions please...

From what I have heard in these threads and read I reckon the FRER is the best option. I didn't get a +ve hpt with ds until I was almost 10 weeks though so I can't say any of them really worked well for me that time

Hi all, I know it's nearly testing time for a lot of people but wondering if I can still join the thread? I've actually been skim reading this post with the intention of joinging but have been really busy with DS and being back at work!

I think I'm due to test on the 15th or 16th - this is my first cycle since getting AF since stopping BF my DS (13 months) and I'm taking metformin so cycle length is a bit of a guess. I'm pretty sure I ovulated d20 when I conceived my DS, and I got FIVE days worth of pos OPKs this cycle from d18 onwards (a few of those had to be false positives!). I was feeling really positive but as testing time comes up I'm a bit unsure... so, if I don't get a BFP this cycle I'll be joining you for sure in May. I think the birthdate 12/2012 would be really cool so fingers crossed (although I'm sure any offspring won't thank me for a December birthday!). Sorry for anyone with a BFN so far, and congrats on all the positives!

Kpet - I only got a faint line the first time around and when I did a blood test it was a good level - over 200 I think, so here's hoping it's good for you too!

    Watching this space for everyone!

I tested this afternoon and I swear I see the faintest line! Don't want to get my hopes up so I bought another 3 FRER tests tonight. So tomorrow morning should definately confirm a yes or a no... How do you do that black test thing???

Woohoo cycle buddy!! I uploaded it into photoshop and inverted then played with the contrast. Fx for clear BFPs in the morning!! 🌟
