    Default implanon removal

    hiya i had my implanon removed over a yr ago it was my 2nd 1 so i ad dem 4 5 yrs i i have had 3 periods since havin it out n i wnt a baby but noffin happening how lng roughly does it take b4 u can concieve again b grateful for any help thx

    Hi badgal

    I had implanon for a total of 6 years then came off it and went on the pill for a year before we TTC.

    It took almost 12 months of trying for us but I guess everyone is different.

    I would talk to your GP about it if you have concerns.. I'm no doc but I don't believe having the implant should affect you TTC later in life.. At least that's what I was told when I got my 2nd one put in and I also did some reading as I was a little worried.

    I have used Implanon quite a few times. The first time I went off it before we tried to TTC because I wanted to get my body back to normal first. So I was off it for about 6 months before trying.

    After having it in again after having DD, I conceived the following month. I had one period, then ovulated right on schedule the following month and am now 11 weeks pregnant. It really is different for everyone, just like falling pregnant in general. Good luck!
