Topfreedom is a cultural and political movement seeking to advance gender equality by the recognition of the right of women and girls to be topless in public on the same basis that men and boys are permitted to be barechested. In addition, topfreedom advocates seek recognition of the right of nursing mothers to openly breastfeed in public, and of women to sun bathe topless. The Topfree Equal Rights Association (TERA) also assists women in Canada who have been charged for being topless, while GoTopless organizes demonstrations in the United States to protest against the legal and public attitude to the inequality. In Sweden, Bara Bröst is active in advancing topfreedom, as is Topless Front in Denmark

I'm all for being able to Breastfeed In public and even sun bake topless if you want (no tan lines) but the idea of girls just strolling the streets with their tops off kinda freaks me out a bit. I know it shouldn't but still it does.

I totally understand their point at one time women topless was normal than social conditioning changed that. I'd support women's right to be topless if they wanted to, however I couldn't do it lol

I'd be more for toprepression, a campaign to encourage adult men to leave their shirts on. I randomly see men walking around in public places shirtless; a shirt is not that onerous. I don't know if it's akin to a peacock during mating season. Although my inlaws have peacocks and they are more interesting than the average shirtless man.

Anyway, if men can legally expose their chest just because they want to, why not women?
