    Default absolutely horrified

my friend just shared the first pictures of her newborn baby girl.
one of the first pictures shows the FIVE DAY OLD baby with pierced ears.
I asked casually where they went to be pierced so early and she DID THEM AT HOME WITH A NEEDLE!
    Im gobsmacked.

Does she pierce professionally, or do you mean just some diy type effort?

If she does it professionally, then I don't know if it's much worse than people doing it with the gun at a few weeks old.

(as an aside, I'm against piercing full stop on babies)

wow. No anesthetic for a child so young that doesn't understand... then there's the infection control side of things. Personally I'm not a fan of piercing babies ears but this had me
