    Default Washing machine help.

Our washing machine says "service" and wont go until we do just that. Unfortunately, living where i do makes that impossible. However i can buy another for now(nothing wrong with 2 washing machines in the long run)

So, What washing machine do you have?
    What size?
    FL or TL?
    How much did it cost?
How many stars out of 5?

    Thank you for your help

Could be completely irrelevant but try googling your model and the symptoms, sometimes you can reset the computer and it works again. My friend's washing machine broke and the serviceable couldn't fix it, then her husband googled it and reset it himself. The same with our dishwasher- the man couldn't fix it and said its just at the end if it's life (at 5-6 years old we guessed!), on my friend's advice I googled it and reset it and it works again! Worth a try!

LG 7.5kg frontloader with 10 years warranty. It washes fabulously and it very very quiet. I extremely water and electricity efficient. The childlock is a must as DS loves pushing the buttons because they make a "ping ping ping" sound.
I also love the happy little tune it plays to notify me that the machine is finished lol. That is such a "must have" hehe

I have had it for 2 years and with DS wearing cloth nappies, it's used every day. Still working beautiful.

I have a Miele front loader and it is great. My mother had the same Miele washing machine for 30 years so I'm working on the pay now save later philosophy.
If I had the room I would have 2 washing machines.

We have a Fisher and Paykel - 8kg top loader 4 energy stars and 4 1/2 water saver stars, brought it a couple of months ago for $800 it wa son special, think we save around $100. I used to have the model below this, it was only 5kg though, never had any problems with it, it was just too small. My parents have the model aboves ours and she hates it because it doesn't have the divider in the middle of the washing machine, so while you can fit quit a fair bit of washing in the machine it unbalances in almost every cycle, she constantly has to rebalance it and then resume the cycle.

We swear by Simpson, the only washing machines we have ever had.
Ours is only a year old, 8litre, energy rating 3, water rating 4. It is one of the few that don't have the plastic bowl inside. It cost about $900 I think.
