    Default Sex At Dawn!

Who has read it or is reading it?

I just wanted to say thankyou to the member (AM - I think) who linked it in a thread a while back about monogomy/polygamy.

I have really enjoyed it so far - the humourous approach to a fairly complicated topic.

I'm only half way through as I have about three books on the go - and haven't been flicking to the back of the book to read the 'emphasis' bits - so will definitely read it again.

It has challenged my way of thinking, opened up my eyes and really helped cement my love of nature and our connection to it.

I haven't read the book, no time with all the uni reading (oh how I can't wait to read things for pleasure!). I liked the FB page after I saw it come up on yours and I find the links fascinating.
He who laughs last probably didn't get the joke.

Lol ditto! I read it a while back (after you posted it in the other thread actually), but my mind is a sieve these days. It's excellent.

Witwicky - on the FB page there is a recent link a show called 'The Point' ..when you have a lazy 48minutes spare - I think you'd enjoy it.

Yay!! I knew I hadn't imaged it being linked.
It was quite strange really... the night I read it I had just dropped my sister at the airport after supporting her through a break up where she had an affair.
She was truly shattered with what she had done - obviously because she was worried what people would think of her..but she just couldn't explain the desire to NOT stay in a relationship with someone. She is highly sexual, bi sexual and very much an extrovert.

I sent her the link and she has finished it before me (oh the things you can do when you are childless! )

It is on my bedside table with about 4 other books at the moment, I read depending on my mood.

The section about the shape of the penis certainly intrigued me!

..it's funny - DP lays in bed next to me reading 'Game of Thrones' (full on fantasy sex) and I'm reading this... we read out the odd passage to each other everynow and then.

Ooh i'll have to watch that show....when I get a spare 48 minutes

I found the penis shape incredibly interesting as well, from the perspective of adaptation. The fact that our anatomy can demonstrate whether or not we are a monogomous species is another amazing evolutionary notion.

I have always had strong opinions regarding human beings and natural monogomy, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. I need to read it again to refresh my mind though, I remember a few points really stood out to me, but I can't think of what they were at the moment!
