Default very, very light period on the pill

I have been on the pill for 3 months and tomorrow is my last day of sugar pills but i'm still waiting for my period to start
I take my pill every afternoon, around the same time and haven't been sick or taken any antibiotics. I realised i did forget one pill but it was towards the end of the active pills and i haven't had sex after that (i think, can't remember exactly )- so i assume being pregnant would be near impossible?
Is it normal to have very light or no period on the pill? I'm a bit wary to start my active pills but maybe it's normal not to bleed much? I am on microgynon 20.

    TIA

Missing a pill near the start or end of a pack is the most dangerous time to miss one so definitely take a test.
I had a heap of breakthrough bleeding last month and when it came to taking the sugar pills I didn't start withdrawal bleed till about day 5 of the sugar pills and it only lasted 2 days and was very very light. I think because I had so much breakthrough bleeding that month. Definitely not pregnant though and I think it was due to changing brands of pill.

Sh1t, i thought missing a pill in the middle would be more dangerous.
I skipped my sugar pills last month and did have some bleeding anyway so maybe that has messed things around a bit, i don't feel i'm pregnant but wouldn't feel right taking the active pills until i'm sure so i guess i just better take a test *sigh*

    Thanks for replying

I just found my instruction leaflet and it says if you miss a pill with less than 7 active pills left before the sugar pills (which i did) you should skip the sugar pills (which i didn't). Also that you are at risk of pregnancy if you had sex within the 7 days before missing the pill - i think i did but i can't really remember tbh
I'm a bit more nervous now but surely i couldn't be pregnant, i have had some bleeding just not much at all - i'm so confused.
Yes, i know i should just take a stupid test but i can't get to the shops today and DH is working late and i had to get this off my chest.
    Thanks for listening

Just try to relax a little bit, the more stress the weirder the things your body does.

I know when. My sister misses a pill or whatever and sometimes skips stuff, she often has a messed up cycle.

Goodluck, i hope you get the result you want xxoxx
