URGENT help need re applying for job with requires selection criterias

Hi Ladies,

I am in the middle of applying for a Library Assistant position. I have filled out most of the selection criterias, however I wanted to ask if anyone is able to help with drafting the ones i just cant get started. I know it has to be with the STARS model.
Is there anyone who could help...this would be my absolute dreamjob...and i so dont want to mess this one up.......[IMG]http://www.*************.com.au/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif[/IMG]

the ones missing - any help would be abosolut fantastic.

I have completed filling out 8 other selection criterias just these ones have me stumped . I have to complete this by the end of the week......THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

Sorry but I have no idea about the stars thing, hopefully someone else can help.

Hi there, I can't help with your experiences but if you need more help with star you basically need to do
Situation or task - last week or at a party or when I had to make a dress etc

Action - exactly what you did, eg, I cut out the fabric, placed it together, pinned it and then started sewing

Result - the dress was finished on time, I had many compliments and someone also asked me to help them make a dress.

You can also use "alternate result" the dress was a bit long for me, so I shortened it after it was completed, the next time I made the dress I made sure to measure accordingly and it was perfect the first time (this is really good when they ask you about a time when something didn't work well.)

I hope this helps you, I just tried to use an everyday example that you can understand

thank you so much for your reply. It definitly makes more sense now....I will try my best to put something together....fingers crossed.

My biggest problem is always how to start. and then when you read some examples i think 'of course' why didnt I think of that....
