But she is nearly 8 months old and says Mum/Mum-ma, Dad/Dada, Gamdad/Gamdada (Granddad), Hi, Hewlo (Hello), NanNanNan (Nanna), Yuck (2nd word she learnt), Yum, Owe (3rd word she learnt), Yaya/Yah (Yeah/Yah, my fault I saw yah all the time to her), bubbub.

She also knows Yes and No via nodding and when we say the dogs name she points to her.

And she knows the meanings to each word she says too. As she will either look at and say it or point to and say it. For instance today I said "Say bye to Granddad" and she turned away from nan, looked at him and said "Eye Gamdad".

Eye is the first time Ive heard her attempt a bye, so I havent counted it in the words.
An update, she is now just 11 months and now says yes not just yeah, no, what, um, oh, know, don't, sit.

She is also learning to understand what i ask. So for example if i ask her to stand or sit she will do so, she understands ta, come here please, can i have a kiss (and will tell me no if she doesn't want to), wave and bye with actions, she hi fives, she shakes your hand, she fake Coughs when someone real coughs, she knows dance and jump. Understands the concept of picaboo with her version of the word.

She also understands some sentences and will answer. Yesterday i asked her if she wanted more lunch and instead of doing her normal mouth open she said yes.

She also understands what i don't know is and has responded with that a few times

I have loved reading all the cute things your kids are saying.

My little boy is just 10 months old, he says a babled version of mumum, dadad, bubub etc.

His name is Ryder and every now and then he says ryry-dada

This is such a great age
