home birth in Hobart Tasmania

hi i am seeking any info about home birth in Hobart i have had a very negative reaction to my questions an no one is willing to point me in the right direction any info or insight would be so much appreciated after 2 hospital births can i have the birth i wont ???????

Hi

Fellow tassie mum here.
Ive found its hard to find any info on any sort of birthing besides at the major hospitals in Tas.
I can only really suggest seeking out a tassie doula and see if they can point you in the right direction. Theres not many but when I jump onto my laptop later I can send you some link if you would like?

i have heard good things about the independent birth centre in launceston - they may be able to direct you to someone in your area

Hi there. This is an old thread - but hoping to bring it back up - We are currently TTC out third baby and I am looking at homebirthing I would love some to pointed in the right direction too please!

I am going through the MGP midwife program at the RHH and my middy mentioned that they are hoping to do home birth next year - not sure if there are any concrete plans at this stage but perhaps contact RHH and ask to speak to a MGP midwife?
