I would go for Aleah with that spelling. There's s girl in my class called that, but spelt Ailiyah and I kept on saying Ay-Leah until she told me it was Aleah! I have a friend and hers is spelt Aleah.

I changed the spelling to Aleah cause I couldn't spell Aaliyah & thought there is no way a 5yo could spell it either.

    Love Kaylee...
It's a very pretty but quite rare name.

    Depends who you ask.

    A is A-Leah.

Thanks for all the suggestions I really love Maia unfortionatly my partner doesn't . I am going to keep suggesting things until he agrees. Its so hard we had Alexandra picked out but now I'm not so sure my partner still wants to use it thats why its so hard to convince him that I just don't think its rite for her.

I feel the same way with girls names.

On our list was / is

    Mia
    Zara
    Tayah
    Layla
    Georgie
    Jodelle
    Piper
    Phoenix

We unfortunately lost the baby at 14 weeks, but couldn't bare to refer to her without a name - so we named her Luka.

    Good luck deciding

If you are looking for unusual names, there are two places I can point you: The Death Notices and The Bible.

I would scroll the death notices in my local paper - there are a lot of "old fashion" names that are beautiful - but unpopular.

The Bible is also a wonderful place to find unusual names.

I don't know if it's unusual enough, but what about Scarlett?
