I like to perve on prams sometimes. Only because I wish my job was reviewing prams. Lol.
And I do notice really young babies in cheap strollers with no support and think wtf. Same with huge toddlers in teeny tiny strollers. Must be hard to push.

Pot... meet kettle? I mean come on. I read that forum for a while and I laughed so hard. The amount you spend on a pram doesn't make you a better parent, nor the pram better. I bought a valco 3 wheeler on special at bigw with our first child... oh the humanity and all these comments about bogans owning expensive prams and people being shocked, like only 'decent' parents can afford some ugly $1500 pram lol. How dare they buy a Cammy! that's lowering the name of the brand for wealthier 'better' parents It might not be a fashion statement anymore and there's 2k down the drain...

I personally would never buy those expensive prams, kids are in them a tops of 2 years then they are in stollers. Give me a good HAB or ergo anyday. But whatever, people can spend what they like.I draw the line with this pram snobbiness though. Meh you wheel a kid around in it for a while.

What? People go around judging people on prams? Now I've heard it all!!!! The only thing I cared about is that my pramed worked and got us from A to B...who freaking cares about the bells and whistles. My 2 yr old is now in a cheapie stroller from K-mart! And my care factor? zero!

I want a winnie the pooh pram.
It would be less bogan-y than the one I'm pushing and a darn sight cleaner too.
Actually, the worst stains are sun cream on the faded black hood.

That's it, I'm heading out to get one. Big W, did you say?

I guess they would be horrified to learn i have a $2 pram (literally) that i bought at a garage sale - it was very dirty when i got it but i cleaned it up and it works and i love it.

Haha I saw a polished lady with a sesame st umbrella stroller in Toorak the other day. I wonder if she's been given her marching orders from the suburb yet?

Really, we're bring judged for judging people who judge everyone based on their materiel possessions? My head hurts, and they should be embarrassed that they're so shallow, and are silly enough to post about it online for everyone to see. Wonder if that sense of entitlement keeps them warm at night hahahaha.

Maybe I just don't know enough about prams. I don't even KNOW how much the pram costs that people push around, nor do I care. I don't care about the "features" of prams - they're freaking prams??!! It's a pram???? Am I missing something?

Couldn't care less what people push, like delirium said you'll only be pushing it around for a very short period of your child's life and it has absolutely no bearing on your parenting. Srsly, get a life.

Lol! I remember trying to find a pram when I was pregnant.
After looking on google at brands ect i was soon aware that for some mums it just like buying a car!
Honestly our budget was tight when I was preg, and we just got one from target that was on sale for $90... I thought it was a bargain.. And to be honest I have never really used it!
When we went to the shops dd would be in the baby carrier or capsule and now she is older we go hunting for a good trolly at the shops to pop her in (she is 13mo)
But some of these prams I was looking at went up into the $1000 mark! That's a bit much (well at least in my opinion) and the pictures of these mums in the catalogue pushing these top of the range pram were dressed like they just stepped off a run way... the way these ladies were dressed!! There is no way a new mum could even find the time to dress and do the hair the way these ladies did lol.
