Excuse the bizarre spelling in above post ~ new computer with touch mouse and dodgy space bar (and there I was, talking of good spelling!).

Some of the people in these forums are obviously pram obsessed! I'm SO GLAD that pram varieties is something I've not filled my trivia-prone brain with.

Couldn't find the forum you are talking about, but the one I was looking at had loads of similar crap and photos of prams spotted. Plus none of the regular people were at home, only 7 visitors from elsewhere. So is that us, here at BH, off to google a giggle?

Oh my lord, I've seen it all now!

You know I was walking in my local woollies the other day when I came across this pram called a strider, it looked ok and I didn't mind it however when I took a closer look at the mum I realized its not the pram for me, she was wearing an old track suit and had no make up on, what was she thinking showing up her pram like that.
Lol, I'm the lady pushing the strider

    I recognized a user.

Now that sounds like more fun, hubber spotting in pram forums.

I notice prams. 99% of the time though I notice prams because I know the brand, and I know the brand/model because I've looked at buying one, so certainly not judgement - a bit of pram perving really.

Now I've found that forum. Obsessive, and weird that anyone would spend their time writing and posting about it! ah well, whatever floats their boats is fine by me! Sorry that I've been more judgemental here than at any other time I've been on BH.

Do they care that we care that they care so much about this? We weren't trying to offend anyone, I'm pretty sure, just have a laugh and a boggle at life (the biggest laugh I've had in a while) Funny that the posts after noticing that BH'ers are watching became justifications of why it's ok to pram judge and defending their thread... no need for that really, if its just innocent pram appreciation...

Can you imagine wanting a WHITE pram? I try to avoid white, for the obvious reasons ~ of DIRT!

I'm starting to wish I bought this purple 1970's pram I found on gumtree for $40 while I was preg, it was like the drag racing superstar of prams (all sleek lines with chrome wheels and PURPLE!), but it was vinyl and a bit less functional than the modern wonder I ended up with.

Wow. My eyes have been opened (or closed...on purpose). What will the pram obsessers do when their kids no longer need a pram? Also find it odd when I see My Joy (or whatever it was) under the picture of EMPTY prams...really? Do these material possessions give them more joy than their kids...?

Ok,on to something else. Can't believe I've spent so long thinking about this...it must have REALLY pushed my buttons!

Sorry pram forum goers for misquoting you

BaronessM - I think it is fine that people enjoy prams, I guess you can compare it too liking cars or something, the thing I had a problem with was looking down on people for the pram that they have.
Maybe I got the wrong vibe, I wasn't just speaking of the spot the pram threads either, but no biggy, if people are pram enthusiasts that's fine with me.

I notice other bugaboos cos that's what I have. It was handed down to us from my sister. I wouldn't have a clue about what other prams are around.

I do sometimes stare when I see someone with a pram I like. Also when I see a toddler in one of those prams that look like the ones kids push their dolls in, and they look they don't fit in it properly..
