Default 11 days late and BFN, anyone got a positive spin?

So I haven't been around lately - trying to give my brain a relax and just go with the flow this month, but now I am going out of my mind!!
Today I am 11 days late, on CD41 of a usually spot on 31 day cycle (every single other cycle since coming off the pill 6 months ago has been 31 days) and have now done 4 tests in the past 11 days - all either FRER or clear blue digital and all are BFN.
I don't think I would be so confused if I wasn't almost certain I ovulated! Of course I didn't use OPK's this month - but every other month I was able to accurately pinpoint O from CM and O pains.
So I guess my question is, anyone heard of this sort of story ending in a BFP? I've resigned myself to it being BFN but still that little part of my heart and of course DP is hoping were still UTD.
I've got a Dr's appt in an hour or so but I just wanted some real life opinions.
    TIA

    Sucks balls hey!
Part of me just wants to get AF and get on with it, and then the other little part of me thinks, what if?
Really annoying to because I have had really strange nausea intermittently, especially if I haven't eaten and I have never had heartburn before but the other night was woken in the middle of the night with it and have had it sporadically every day since.

Sounds like you are having an irregular cycle either way.

I always had irregular cycles so not really in the same boat. However around the time of taking Clomid and provera my cycles were roughly 36-40 days long. The first cycle of Clomid failed and the next cycle had to be natural (no hormones) due to me taking antibiotics. My fertility specialists instructions were to DTD on cycle day 14 (yeah right) and if no AF on cycle day 36 then take provera to bring on my period. So on the natural cycle I was testing like crazy around cycle days 30-39 and still negative so I took provera to bring on AF. But AF never came. I got a BFP on cycle day 54 and the dating scan confirmed I ovulated on cycle day 39.

I would keep DTD and hoping you have ovulated later in your cycle.

    Good luck :-)

I have 105 day cycles! Haha, so Clomid and Provera have been used in the past.

    How annoying!!
Well I went to the drs and she did a hcg so now I just gotta be patient for one more day, I can ring and get the results tomorrow.
Feeling pretty bummed and like its just my body being weird and that's why it's been 6 months with no luck.
I just wish I was more patient!!

I have my scripts for Clomid and Provera, but really don't want to use them.

    I can understand that.

I truly hope that this is it for us but in my heart I can see needing to go down that route myself.

Its a bit silly but I've always had this feeling I would never see a BFP on a hpt. I'm sure it's just me being silly but I just don't feel it will happen which is weird because I can see us having kids.

Im sure it's all in my head. How long have you been TTC this time?

No, this is the second month. But DS was 31 months ttc and I had a m/c last year after 10 months ttc.
