If you get a chance, head to a health food store or pharmacy and grab yourself some Rescue Remedy, might help keep those nerves at bay

    And good luck!

Congrats! Before my c section my doctor said to me that it would just feel like a washing machine was in my belly and it's true! It just felt like someone was pushing me around from the inside. Strange but definitely not uncomfortable our painful. The worst part for me was being sewn up. It took ages (probably only about 15 minutes if I'm honest haha) and I just wanted to cuddle my baby! By the time they were done I honestly couldn't be bothered because if the drugs. Don't be suprised if that happens, apparently it's pretty common heh.

And while you're at the health food store grab some Liva tone shots capsules to work the drugs out of your system quicker.

I remember the feeling before I headed off to the hospital to be induced with DS. For me it was just so surreal heading out the front door of the house and just knowing that when I came back through that door again I'd have a baby in my arms... very exciting!

All the best with the birth and next few days, enjoy the snuggles!

My CS was emmergency so didn't have the nerves, was more like relief by that time but still an amazing experience. Yes, I agree with the washing machine in your belly thing, but yes defintely no pain, just funny feeling!
My sew up time was about 2 minutes, I actually beat bubs mini health check which I was watching over to my right! And then we had mini cuddles (with my cheek only) while they finished cleaning me up then we were off to recovery!

Good luck and try to enjoy and soak up as much as possible, it's something I love thinking back to and remembering that part of the day!!
