Woah ours never exceeds $170 and thats for 2 adults, 2 kids who leave lights on all the time, tv constantly going, air con blared most of the time...
I just got a $1600 elec bill last three bills were estimates so this one is to make up for all the under estimates I've had. I have been paying $100 a fortnight so have already paid $500 off it before it came but have no idea how I'm going go pay $1100 by the end of the month.
Mine is about $140 a quarter plus $70 every 3 months for gas. I pay $60 a fortnight off these bills.
$832 for the last quarter. 2 adults, one baby, 3 brm house. No dishwasher, didn't use the dryer, heater hardly used either.
Just realised I didn't answer. Last bill was $380. 3 adults, DS and no A/C
We do use the drier on occasion though
Our last one just came today, ours are monthly this one was $38 generally for a quarter we pay between $100-$150 that is for 3 people in a 4 bed 2 bathroom home
Our quarterly bill is around $250 - that's in Bris for 2 adults and a baby. We don't have any air con, but run fans most of the time in summer. To give you an idea what that's for we run the dishwasher every 3rd day, washing machine every 2nd day, have a very small hot water service and we keep light usage to a minimum. We have a ridiculously big TV, but it's pretty energy efficient. We have gas cooktop, but only buy a bottle once every 2 years, and use the electric oven on average 2 or 3 times a week.
3 years ago our bill was around $150 a quarter, and our usage has barely gone up - so that's how much costs have gone up over that time
We direct debit $360 p/m which I think is huge. We have 4 children, pool, solar hot water (but booster on most of time), energy efficient lighting. I hardly use the ac (maybe 5 times all summer) so I'm not sure what's costing so much. Need to look into it.....
