Well, the ultra sound is done. The lady i got was lovely... she had even taken the time to warm the gel before i got there!
Also very chatty and was more then happy to tell me what she thought she saw.. i thought they were not allowed to do that??

She said she can see a mass of tissue starting at the top of my breast near the arm pit all the way down the side basically to the bottom, she estimated it was the size of a lemon....

I wish she hadnt said anything cos she couldnt tell me what it was aside from "BIG" now i have to wait for the DR surgery to call me to make an appointment. I have the ultrasound picks... so tempted to open them and have a look but i dont want to freak myself out even more!!

Has anyone else had this sort of result?

I hadn't had any pain when I went for my yrly scan (mother and gm have had breast cancer)
The person performing the ultrasound freaked out and said I need to see my gp again soon as there was an unexplained lump.
I went to see GP and then had to go to a specialist.
It wasn't as large as what the lady said yours was, but when I got to finally see the specialist, it was just a mass of adipose (fat) tissue. I'm not overweight or anything but he said it was all normal.
It was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
I understand how scared you must be.

    All the best xox

My doctor is fantastic. You wouldnt believe she worked in a bulk billed office. I have had other doctors that i have paid major $$$ for and they didnt seem to give a damn but this one is great.

Not sure if i am looking forward to 11:30am today or not.... all i can say is i am probably not getting any work done this morning.

Havent had a good night sleep in 3 nights and have hardly eaten. Just wish i know a way of switching my brain off.... grrrrr
