We are male factor. My dh and I joke that all 18 yr old boys should be made to give a sample - then if it's not great they can save the money they would spend on contraception to pay for future IVF. (sorry I have this warped sense of humour for dealing with it all now).

I also agree. For me (i'm the one with the fertility issue in our house), i think about all those thousands of pills i took so religiously, and so unnecessarily!

And it's good to be able to have a sense of humour about it!

PCOS is a very common factor these days (it's the hormones in the chickens I swear! )

DH is 'above average' (yes, he offend reminds me of that lol)
Me, PCOS and overweight. This is only our 3rd cycle, DH was previously on methotrexate based medication for rheumatoid arthritis, since ceasing those meds and count has gone sky-high is when we considered TTC. Metformin was used and we fell pregnant straight away - 1st cycle! We lost it - but at least we fell (and being someone who hasn't been pregnant in 15 years - I felt every single bit of it too!)

    2nd cycle - No 'O' due to m/c
3rd cycle - 'O'd, I feel very pregnant (again), but have started getting severe cramps and spotting (AF isn't due for 1 1/2 weeks!) again!

    Time will tell
