I think I only ovulate from one ovary - progesterone test this week to confirm. Also waiting for hubby's SA results. We really have no idea what the problem is yet

Our reason is that I have PCOS, so I don't ovulate regularly either. To begin with I went & saw the GP & they kept saying 'don't stress, your body will sort itself out'....well it never did. I finally convinced my GP to give me a referral to the OB/GYN but that was a bit of a wait to get in.

We fell preg in Dec 2011 but unfortunately lost bub fairly early on. While I was pregnant, it was found out that I have a bicornuate uterus (or however its meant to be spelt! ) meaning that it is heart shape which can cause different complications. My doct thinks that's also another reason it had taken us so long cause it can be harder to implant..

Anyway, still trying...am starting clomid on 17th March.

Good luck, hope it all goes well for you guys!

After 2.5yrs of trying & a late m/c, we saw a fs only to be told there was nothing significant in all the results. Only 'minor' issue was poor quality on dh behalf but his count was 4x the average which pretty much null & voided the poor quality.

We did both test positive to a bacteria that 70% or something of the population has that *can* cause abnormalities...both treated with a dose of ab & blow me down, conceived this bub that cycle. May or may not have been that bacteria causing the issue but it was too much of a coincidence...good luck

    We had "unexplained Infertility"
All tests were normal, the only thing was a high insulin resistance.
after a year of trying naturally ( with OPKs and monitors and blood tests) we went to FS and did 3 rounds of clomid and IUI. the first two failed. Theni started Metformin for the insulin resistance and we were pg within 5 weeks.
I think it was due to the high insulin resistance.

From what I've read, 1 in 6 couples have trouble and maybe 2 of those is "unexplained" but not sure where those stats come from.

My issue is tubal factor. I lost a tube due to an ectopic pregnancy in 2010, and a laparoscopy confirmed my other tube was blocked too. I also have a low ovarian reserve.
I've done 3 rounds of IVF since November 2011 (one full, stimulated cycle with injections and egg collection etc), and one frozen embryo transfer. It's 2 days till my blood test to see if this round has worked!!

I am another one with PCOS and irregular ovulation / unpredictable cycles. We have been TTC 2 years and no BFP for us yet, we are seeing a FS and have tried clomid but no response. Now onto FSH injections + IUI, I seem to respond better to the injections than the clomid so hoping that will do the trick! My DH also has very low morphology (hence doing IUI) but a very high count which counteracts it, so hopefully his boys can do the job once I ovulate.

I would advise having a pre-conception check up with your GP if you haven't already, they can do blood tests and talk to you about factors that may affect you personally. Good luck and loads of baby dust to you!

Finally a BFP after 4th round gonal-f injections + IUI!

We are still in the early days of ttc. But I only have 1 ovary that functions due to endometriosis. We are due to see fx in July if we havent fallen by then to help us conceive.
