Absolutely. I don't believe in the death penalty or vigilantism, and real life isn't like dexter.

No, I don't think I would - irl might be another story!
You only have to watch the news to see how many sickos are out there getting off lightly!!! That's just the people "they" want us to know about! :-/

Hmm such a tricky question. Part of me says it's wrong but another part of me says those type of people are better off dead so they can't keep hurting the innocent. I guess I'd have to be confronted in the situation to make a call.

Hmmm what would I do if I came across dexter, hmmmm I think we might be able to come to some type of agreement that doesn't involve the police

In general, no. Though, of course it'd depend on how I assessed the invidivual situation. If I thought the person was quite capable of moving on to more innocent victims, then I'd have to report them to protect myself and others.

I am okay with vigilantism mostly... if the law isn't protecting people, I'm okay with someone else doing it.

So, if you found out that the government or the police had a secret taskforce to kill people they deemed should die, would that be okay? It's extrajudicial killing. An individual or small group of people shouldn't get to decide who lives or dies, outside of the justice system.

Dexter is fantasy. A real life (Australian) Dexter is more likely to be like this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bu...(serial_killer) (distressing - references to Snowtown murders)
