Wow! congrats to SimpsonDesert and Jerrybaby!! I am super excited for you both. Try and relax Jerrybaby. I can't remember if this was one of your tested embies??? but if it is then the chances of a mc are quite low. AFM: FET will likely be late next week. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Also any advice/ experiences on the local pgd testing vs the American testing would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much in advance, and good luck to everybody on this journey......
U can do fresh or frozen transfer x

Hi and welcome Grace! I think the time taken depends on your clinic: some clinics test on day 3, and have results available so you can transfer on day 5. My clinic biopsies embryos on day 5 and then I wait 3-4 weeks for results. I can transfer the next cycle (ie start the next time AF arrives after that). I prefer the break, as the stimming takes a toll on my body and I need time to recover after EPU.

I'm not sure about the American testing, my cycles have always been with local testing.

Hope your journey is short and sweet. Best wishes for your cycle.

    Hi ladies & Springy

Starting pgd with 3 cycles and embryo banking ....
@SpringRain when is your frozen transfer scheduled for ? Must be coming up soon ? I guess your body is pretty battered from the stimming... All the very best

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry its been a while since I last posted. I have definately been stalking the site every week. Welcome to all the new commers.

I received the results back of my IVF - CGH round 3, started with 14 mature eggs, 10 fertilized with ICSI and 4 made it to testing. A whopping 3 came back normal. I only ever get one normal per cycle so i was shocked to the core.
The only difference i did this cycle was add in CoQ10 (Blackmores).
I had my 2nd transfer last week and i am thrilled to report that i got a BFP on a FRER yesterday at 5dpt . I have done another two poas since then and the line is getting darker. Beta is not until next Monday. I am experiencing lots of early symptoms so fingers and toes crossed this all works out.
The embryo from my 2nd transfer was fully hatched where my first transfer it did not thaw out fully hatched so dont know if that made a difference. My lining at day 11 was 6mm not sure what it was transfer day. My Dr said he has had a few ladies of late get BFP with lining as thin as 4.5mm.

Good luck to all the girls on the thread, i really hope your BFP is just around the corner.

Great numbers there my last collection was 24, with 21 fertilized all looked to be best quality but on two little eggs passed testing, first one implanted but chem pregnancy and I'm waiting on putting my second one in about two weeks from now, my first collection was 7 collected 7 fertilized but none passed testing so if this one fails I'll be stock piling next year
What is Blackmore COQ10???? Xx hope ur pregnancy is progressing nicely

Galea I honestly believe CoQ10 made all the difference it creates blood flow to the ovaries. I also took it leading up to transfer and a few days post transfer. I also took vitex it regulates the hormones and preps the uterus. I would not take vitex whilst stimming as it might interfere. I hope your BFP is not far away Gales

Hi Rtropps coQ10 helps blood flow you can pick it up from the chemist.
With the chemical does it only partially implant did you POAS and lines were not getting darker as they say that's what can happen with chemical. It's hard to fathom why a CGH embryo does not fully implant
