Scarlet - The ET in Feb was fresh from the PGD cycle - however despite having regular (like clockwork actually) AF after a stim my body always goes a bit crazy & AF comes early (about 1/2 way through tww) even with crinone or pessaries so in Feb we tried the progesterone injections...as we had low hopes we asked that the worst quality embie be used & sure enough BFN.
Mar was a FET with our best quality embie with NO support & it worked
Happy to answer any questions I can x

Hey everyone, hope your all well.

Summershine: how will you find your egg donor? Will you be using a friend or family member? My sister used my other sister as an egg donor and has THE most beautiful boy. Sooooo bald.

Scruffy: congrats on your sisters bubba! I know your emotions must be mixed but you can just practice on her bubba till you get your own.

AFM: I COULD use my donors embies legally, but morally I won't do it. Things are weird between us now. I'm still pretty upset by it. I just want a second bubba so bad. But that's really selfish when I already have one and I'm pretty sure there are many people on this forum who would kill for 1.

    Hi Ladies,

Wise- I was so upset to read that your donor is out, noooo! Ditto what Scruffy said!! Is there any chance he'll reconsider if given more time? I know you've said you wouldn't proceed without his say-so, but he's obviously had little concern for you by backing out of the deal... I don't see why he deserves to have you honour his wishes. And don't feel the least bit selfish for wanting another bubba, if thats your heart's desire, then you go for it.

April- how did your FET go today? Look forward to hearing good news & sending lots of sticky baby dust to you!

Wish- Your plan to cycle again with DHEA & clomid on board sounds promising. Here's to a better outcome in June!

Scarlet- Yay for AF showing! So exciting that your FET is so close now

Scruffy- I can imagine how bittersweet it would be to have a new baby in the family while you're still struggling. My cousin recently announced her honeymoon-conceived pregnancy & it cut me to shreds. Come Oct when the bub is due, I will be very torn with my emotions if I'm still not pregnant myself. Glad to hear all went well with your hyst . Any word on the NK cell results?

AFM- I've been lying low, finding it hard to get enthusiastic about cycling again. Usually after a break, I'm itching to get going, but this time I feel like I've mentally checked out. The thought of quitting is actually becoming more appealing than continuing to try, and remaining childless isn't such an unthinkable concept anymore. I'd stop now if DH agreed, but he wants to keep going til the end of this year. Its quite a relief to have agreed upon an endpoint.

I had my US last Monday & it didn't turn up anything unusual, so I won't be having an MRI. All ready to start jabbing when AF shows at the end of May.

Hey Lindy - I'm not surprised you're struggling to get the energy to go again, I've been doing this less than half the time you have and find each day a struggle still (I think mother's day makes it particularly hard!)

April - Yay to PUPO!! I hope these two weeks fly by

Quick one from me, the clinic said even if I got the NK results they want me to have a month off before FET to allow the uterus to heal, I have managed to talk them into letting me do another egg collection straight away - 'it doesn't involve the uterus' was my plea So will start jabbing in the next week or so and means I can enjoy lots of champagne on my holiday in July

Scruffy - yay for starting jabbing again so quickly I like your reasoning!!

April - congrats on being PUPO! Lots of sticky babydust for you

Lindylou - I'm so sorry you're feeling like pulling the pin. It's so exhausting this IVF journey and I haven't even been going that long. Only you will know when you've had enough. But I'm hoping May will be a lucky cycle for you. Lots of hugs

Scarlet - not long for FET now. Tick tock

Wise Enough - I understand your reasoning but I'm still seriously ****ed on your behalf!

Summershine - I'd be interested too to hear about your egg donor journey. I may have to look at that myself if CGH testing isn't successful for me. All the very best to you

    Sorry if I've missed anyone

    Wish

    Hey guys,

Just checking in quick. We were away for the testing with the boys and just got back. Testing went good, one was pretty much fine, the other didn't look good at all (which is what we thought, so no surprise). Waiting on biopsy results and hopefully we get an answer rather than no known cause!

April: So excited to hear that you are PUPO, congrats and enjoy. Will be havning out to hear your beta. I would be POAS even though I knew it would be positive with the pregnyl lol no patience.

Lindy: I am so sorry you are down, I find IVF very exhausting as well, but I am really confident that you will get your baby. The friend of mine in Sydney who had the cgh testing that failed, she went on to get a consult with an Americal doctor who specialises in immunology, it was expensive I know that, but apparently he did a ton of testing drs here won't even touch. His name is Dr Braverman, that is about all I know, but he has a website and forum, you may be able to ask a question or have a look around.

AFM: I had my first bloods today, I went to local St John of God, who swore the courier would be there by 10 and we would have the results by 2, for Sydney to have them in time, but of course total WA style, not ready yet lol so lucky it was first set of bloods. Will know tomorrow when I have to go back. I am doing natural and generally ovulate late I think, so I don't expect ovulation for another 6 days, lets see how good I am
