Default DTD after a 4th degree tear....

Just after some advice...I had my first bub 5 weeks ago and unfortunately recieved a 4th degree tear....I'm petrified to dtd, when the time comes. And although I'm not ready yet, just wondering how long other ladies waited after having a 4th degree tear...and did it hurt??

I waited 3 months too and when we finally did it it was the most painful thing ever. Ruined my sex drive for a while so I went to the dr and he gave me cream to numb me which was the only way I could dtd. This lasted about a year but is all good now.

I had a 4th degree tear 5 months ago, only started dtd at 4 months. Likewise extremely painful. Maybe TMI but con.doms can help. Start out slow with finger.ing. So awful, im so sorry you experienced this!
