Lily, your posts dont 'explain' evolution. They say god did it.

    Which is fine. Your belief...

...by the way the pyramid analogy I think is ridiculous. Im not mocking you. Im laughing at the actual analogy that doesnt explain anything.
Yep. Hands up- I admit to calling that ridiculous.

I didn't explain evolution? Is that what your looking for, only explanations for evolution? I think you started the wrong thread then and perhaps warn people they shouldnt answer unless they're going to explain evolution.

Thanks for admitting to mocking me. As for the analogy, some people can be ignorant to things like that and that's ok, of you don't understand something it's easier to mock it. I would suggest you try and broaden your mindset and different ideas people put forth. It's really the only way you will learn anything new and understand the questions your asking people.

Ok, thanks- Catholics are one group I really want to find out more about- I always hear so much about them & yet the teachings & how they differ from beliefs of other denominations is still a bit of a mystery to me!

I can attempt to answer any questions that you have (from a former catholic pov)- but maybe it's for a different thread?

Just a warning to people who believe in creationism.
You WILL get mocked, no one is trying to understand your pov and if they don't do it here, they'll do it on facebook groups.
Don't bother. The whole thread was started to bait you!!

    Lily!
you said you believed in evolution and used genisis to support it.
I was asking what came before ( in your opinion) ... Adam.
Because I understood you were trying to say with the introduction of cultivation is what led to Adam (man).

If that is what jess stories are teaching... Then I can tell my son that when he asks.
I didnt know that is what they were trying to tell... Thats why im asking you... Because you are taking the metaphorical view... Which im actually cool with. Its the literal view that opposes my understanding.

If you dont want yo explain I understand.
