    Default Your success on Optifast?

I know there are similar posts on shakes, but I've just started Optifast and I wanted to know how others went while using the optifast shakes.
Did you use shakes only or 2 shakes & a meal?
How much weight did you lose & over what period?
How much exercise did you do while using the shakes?
Did you feel drained when you first started using then?

Took me a week to get used to it but I lost roughly 8 kilos in 5ish weeks.
First week is definitely the hardest, especially as I was on only 3 shakes a day. Got heaps easier after that though and no I didn't feel drained.
I've just ordered Quick Slim and am going to give that a try!

I found it really hard after the first week because there just isnt a great variety. I had vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and coffee shakes, vegetable and chicken soup and the chocolate and coffee bars.

The only shake I liked was the strawberry ones and I didnt like the bars at all, they taste like cardboard.

So for the 2 weeks I was on it, I lived on 2 strawberry shakes a day, and a chicken or vege soup sachet.

It got old very fast. It was a real struggle to get it down somedays as I was so sick of it.

On the plus side, I did lose 6 KG in the first week and 3 in the second with doing only minimal exercise (30 mins walking a day).
Also, after the first 3 days of feeling constantly hungry, you find yourself not even thinking about food. It was an odd feeling for me, having so little but feeling satisfied.

Worst thing me and DH did was treat ourselves to a steak dinner after 14 days.....we never went back to the shakes again!

IMO, it is tough, but if you can stick to it, the results are amazing.

With the lack of energy I've been having. I think I can only stick to 40 minute moderate paced walking pushing a pram (hills included) not a full on work out
