DJ, - Best of luck for your transfer on tuesday.

Sunny, - I'm keeping everything crossed for you as-well. Have a lovely "relaxing" time, or try to anyway ...

MusicalGal, - A catch up sounds nice! I'm glad you are feeling well.

Amps, - Nothing to do now but relax! If only we could in the 2nd week. . I hope monday comes around quickly for you.

Bella, - Hope the drugs have calmed down for you... Was your run today? Sorry I haven't been watching the news. Anyway I hope you had a colourful day!

AFM, - Assessment cycle went well. Everything was normal (ov'ed etc), except for that polyp thingy, if that's what it is. Had the option to get rid of it now or after the ivf cycle. But as it could impede implantation, I can't see the point of waiting. It shouldn't delay anything anyway. All going to plan I'll start Lucrin on CD21 of this cycle, then after AF I'll start the AACEP.
I'll be getting a Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy next friday. Hopefully I'll be in just for the day.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

    MrsP...

MrsP - Good news that your assessment month didnt show up anything unexpected. Good luck for Friday.

    AFM
Back the hotel room after transfer and a lovely lunch.

I have 2 blasties on board...one expanded and the other a couple of hours behind.

Now to rest up...it is freezing outside and pouring at the moment...just the right weather to be indoors and incubate!

Sunny I am so excited for you, they sound perfect. Rest up and stay very warm. Good luck

DJ good luck for ET, hopefully this one will be the one I really hope August is our month for BFP's. It is so weird how I am two weeks behind you yet we got AF on the same day. Different plans I guess?

Musicalgal I am so glad your little bean is growing perfectly. Such a relief for you both. Sounds like Wazza is the baby making man. We are considering him if our frosties don't work. Absolutely everyone just raves about him you know he has his own thread

    Hello to other ladies

ATM scan on the 2nd to check my lining then ET set for the 8th Aug depending on lining thickness. Progynova has being good asde from the headaches from time to time and the metallic dry taste in my mouth. Frozen cycles are the bomb compared to fresh ones.

Sunny - welcome home! You'd be back by now. .. growing your little springbok and implanting. What happens now. Do u still have a bit of time off work? Happy pupo!

Amps - how goes the 2ww? Try to relax girl. Easier said than done I know!

Well I called wda office yesterday with a few questions. Wda called back, chewing his lunch in my ear and seemed a bit annoyed at my questions. I got the distinct feeling of 'I got u pregnant, so now go away and get an obstetrician, there's nothing more I can do for you now. ' so I did. He basically told me to stay on clexane, prednisone and all the other meds n supps until week 12 and get an ob.

So I started looking around up here in Cairns. Seems like there's only 3. Dr Miller, no thanks. Natalie kiesly-kaulding, who I've seen before and love, but she's so expensive and I don't have private cover, and roger Waterfield, whom I've heard has absolutely no personality but delivered my god daughter and a few other friends babies, is a professional, so I guess it's him. Any advice or others anyone knows of in Cairns?

Musicalgal There are three practicising OB's in Cairns Waterfield, Wright and NKC. Miller hasn't for a while now don OB work.

I would see Dr Wright then in your case Roger Waterfield has seriously missed the boat on 3 of my losses now and rather then help me made me wait 5 weeks to miscarry naturally I will be seeing Natalie next time so I can get my nt scan results immediately because obviously that's a large source of anxiety for me because both Miller and Roger made me wait 2 days to tell me how sick my baby was despite having my results the day of my scan.

I also found Roger kept asking why are we doing IVF despite my husband sitting there in a wheelchair and asking if it was my first loss each and every single time despite my file saying 5 miscarriages and 1 second tri loss!! Holy hell it was stressful and upsetting. That said he did 11.5 yrs ago deliver my son but it was a straight forward 5 hour birth he almost missed it and no after care required so other then telling me when to push he wasn't all that necessary at the big day.

Dr Wright apparently has a lovely bedside manner only charges minimal fees for visits claims on the stop and the birth is bulk billed and is all the girls I know adored the care they recieved. Waterfield also charges minimal fees for visits claims on the stop and the birth is bulk billed and will see you anytime if you have a bleed etc but seriously he doesn't read your notes beffore you walk in and re familiarise himself with your details I was left with keloid scarring at all my wounds all of them re opened and WDA wasn't impressed by the care I received from the Ectopic Surgery of which no ectopic was found. My GP has strongly recommended NKC although expensive she said that with what we have been through that is the best person for our care now.

Musicalgal- I have had 2 babies with Dr Waterfield as my OB and he was BRILLIANT!!!! I have nothing but praise for that man!! If it wasn't for him me and my little boy would not be here right now! I have also had other medical issues sorted with him which he was also great for! He is straight down the line which I love and is sooo lovely!! I think u just need to go and meet whoever your thinking of going with and make your own opinion though because different people see different things in everyone. I absolutely love Dr Waterfield and Dr Miller!

I didn't think Dr Miller did obstetrics anymore??

    Goodluck with everything!

musicalgal - I think you will just have to pick who YOU feel comfortable with, easier said than done I know. nkc was good to start then refused to treat me any further(I heard her myself in the corridor), got waterfield then and he was great for me. Had bedside visit from wright as fill-in while being treated found him nice. Heard great things about all 3 and bad, nkc in it for the $$$, waterfield crappy bedside manner, not much bad about wright. Have no idea about who I will chose if I get a bfp.
