    Hi ladies

Sunny15: Af finally showed up late Sunday so cd1 was Monday, started jabbing Gonal-f on wednesday and going for bt and scan tomorrow. If we make it to epu, I will have been taking dhea for almost 2 months, hopefully thats enough to make a difference, my fs thinks it will. Hope all goes well for you.

Finding it hard to sleep these days, I keep thinking too much.

    HI Ladies

Sunny15: Well I had my bt and u/s today, still have few small follicles on both sides, my lining has thickened from 4.5mm to 6mm (both my transfers before I didn't quite have 6mm). Fs is happy with progress so far. Had to increase my gonal-f from 425 to 450 and started orgalutran today. Not happy about pressaries, so far I only have to do 1 a day at night, but YUCK!!!!!! Drinking raspberry leaf tea (knida getting used to the taste now) and going for more acupuncture on Wednesday. Not sure on epu yet, clinic said they will do it on whatever day is best for my body, even public holiday. cd14 for me is this coming sunday which is approx date. I will know more on wednesday. Getting a little nervous now.

Hope all is well with you and everyone here on this "magical" journey.

Amps - Sounds like your travelling along quite well. I agree the pessaries are yuck and I would prefer injections any day over pessaries. If ET is not until Monday'ish, your lining may even reach 7mm or more....well done. Good luck for tomorrow....keep us informed.

ladies....gee, its been quiet on here of late.

    Hey all,

So glad to have stumbled across this thread.

We go to Cairns Fertility Centre and are on our first OI cycle using Tamoxifen. I know it's not quite to the level you gals are at with IVF but it's nice to know there are some people out there that are going to the same centre are us.

Friday will be our first day of daily bloods to monitor for ovulation.

    Hope all's well

Hi Tropical Bub, I go to cfc too, might catch you ladies there one day. If you go for bloods between 8-9, I'm usually the first one there, the joys of living so far away, I have slight ocd about being late so always leave with plenty of time, always heaps of roadworks and things too.
I should go to bed now cos I will be up early for the drive tomorrow but I find it hard to sleep when things are getting so close now.

    Hi Sunny15 & Amps,

Amps ... I'll also be getting there very early when I start. I'll be dropping DH at work at 7.30 nearby then heading straight to cfc. So yes, I reckon we'll cross paths sometime soon. (I completely understand about 'running late ocd' too, I'm always 10-15mins early for everything!!)

    Hi Ladies

Well I'm offically crapping ,myself now, epu is Friday 8am . Having trigger shot tonight at 10pm, Pregnyl 1000. OMG! Have at least 5 good follicles, with maybe 3 more that might catch up. The embryologist spoke to me today about going to 5day Blastocyst, our last 2 attempts were 3day and didn't work, but I had good quality so she thinks its worth a shot going for 5day. Been on dhea for nearly 2 months so thats gotta help too. Typing this out is making me teary excited.

Tropical bub: was that you sitting on my right? You were the first one there I think, the only other lady was with her dh. If it was you then you went in first. My dh held me up this morning, bless him. He does tend to fuss abit over me these days. if that was you.
Its funny, I met another lady today while I was, shopping for electrical fittings who is going to cfc too. She overheard something I said and started asking me all these questions, which I didn't mind because its stresssful enough as it is, I told her to jump on here too.
One more pressary tonight then none until transfer, I'm so happy about that. I wish I could switch to pills or needles.
    for everyone

Amps - How exciting....here's hoping that the other couple of follies catch up for Friday. Will be thinking of you on Friday morning...dont forget to let us know how you go and how you are feeling post EPU.

Not sure whether you are aware, however, the embryologist will allow you to have a look at your embryo/s just prior to it/them being transferred. Just mention it to Dr Lingam or the FN's and they can arrange it with the embryologist. They just like you to turn up 1/2 an hour earlier at transfer. It is a really special experience having a look at them under microscope. I have done it for 4 out of 5 of my cycles. When DP couldnt make it to a transfer, my mum came with me and she had a look too....while she was looking through the microscope, she said "hello bubbies, this is your nanna speaking"!! It was so cute!!

Tropical Bub - How did you go at your appointment today?

    AFM
6 more sleeps til my appointment with specialist for verdict on increased ANA.
