Hi Bella, thanks for the , I need every little bit I can scrounge ... EPU was Monday 27 May so am on my very last day of TWW today and I’m waiting for BT result as I sit here any type this… literally any minute now. I am anticipating a BFN as this was my crappiest cycle so far in terms of EPU/fert and quality. No preggo signs or symptoms apart from side effects - big boobs, constipation (delightful) and bloating – from the truckload of post transfer support meds I’m on… I was POASing like a mad woman up until Wednesday morning when only one line showed up – up until then it was faint positives everyday due to the pregnyl boosters… Call me stupid but I just can’t help myself with those pee sticks Don’t know how anyone manages to stick it out until BT day for testing!

Hope all is well in your world, sounds like you are really embracing the whole fitness thing… you certainly have inspired me to get back into some more intensive training – I am a regular at Yoga but I think it might be time to add some cardio into the mix BTW how is that new puppy of yours?

Domiffy I always get horribly constipated also its the worst symptom I suffer with a cycle.

I have my fingers crossed regardless for you we all love a good surprise BFP :-)
My puppy is just a huge delight and a terror all at once.

Let us know how you get on I have all my thoughts on you x

Ok , so out of 4 eggs, 2 were immature. One caught up by the afternoon and fertilised. So we have 2 fertilised. Not sure on quality or grades yet. Need to wait til 8am 2mrw n call the scientists to see how they fared. So now it's onto the next milestone. .. waiting for the grading to see how strong they are, and then the milestone after that, day 3, then waiting for them to multiply cells to blasties. It's never ending. ....

On a bright note, we're having a mini holiday. Plenty of time to fill in so Brisvegas shopping, ferry rides, Riverside lunches, and we may even go for a drive to the sunny coast on the weekend.

Fyi We're staying at the brand new Meriton apartments on herschel st. Half price cos they are building, tho we can't hear a thing. 15 min walk thru Roma st parkland to Wazzas office and the day surgery. Just a few blocks from queen st mall. Free wifi and great kitchenette. Thoroughly recommend for fnqers traveling to brissie.

    I'M BAAACCCKKKKK!!!

Geez, where do my days go....they just fly by at the moment!

So it looks like I have a lot to catch up on....here is my news whilst I catch up on everyone else. Sorry MrsP and MusicalGal, its a straight copy and paste from the IVF Over 40 thread....you guys get it twice!!

Bella - Hank is just too darn cute.

    AFM
    My flights are booked - 13-29 July......YEEHAA!!!

So the plan is: Arrive Cape Town on 14th; first lining scan 17th; donor EPU 19th; ET 24th; depart Cape Town 29th; BT 3rd August.

Protocol (so far) includes: lucrin, progynova, estradot patch, viagra pessaries, baby aspirin, terbutaline, clexane, gestone, prednisolone and intralipid infusion. I have most of my scripts and will start filling them.

Accommodation is next....narrowed down to 2 properties...so that should be booked over the weekend.

I think you can guess Im pretty excited.....29 sleeps to go!!!

Domiffy - I was hoping that the silence was because you had received a nice little surprise this afternoon, but I have just read your signature block. Hun, lots and lots of . Scream and get angry at the world and ask why, why, why! Thinking of you.

MusicalGal - I always find this time the most stressful...I hate waiting for fert report and hope they progress to day 3 (I never made it to day 5...my old eggs just couldnt make the distance!). A mini holiday is just the right distraction.

Bella - how are you travelling? Is your list of questions for WDA more of a mini-novel by now? What date in July is the fun run?

    Domiffy - More hugs

Amps - How did you go at the docs re: migraines?

Flaussie - How did your embies/ET go?

    Hi girls,

Sunny, - WOW! How super exciting Less than a month to go. Some of those drugs sound bewildering (to me). What is the viagra for? And are there any side effects .

Musical girl, - I hope your little embies are a fantastic quality. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.
Thanks for the fyi too - The rate now is $235pn (1 bedroom) does that sound right?

Bella, - Your little dog is gorgeous. He looks so huggable. It sounds like you are really enjoying your running .

Domiffy, - More huggs from me too.

AFM, - Still plodding along. Am thinking of getting a consult from CFC, due to the the logistics of cycling with WDA is not agreeing with DH's roster Does anyone have any tips re CFC? Im very uncertain!

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

    MrsP...
