    Hi Ladies

Sunny15: Sending you a warm fuzzy bear hug!

djturner06: Sorry to hear your bfn. Wishing you the best of luck for your next one.

afm: My fs sent me a copy of the letter he sent to my obgyn about our journey so far. I don't know whether to be depressed or happy. Seeing it in black n white is like a cold slap. He also expressed the treatment plan for our next attempt so I guess that's a good thing. Can't say I'm looking forward to the pressaries again, before and after, yuck! We will be using icsi and ah again so we are only going to transfer 1, we will have to wait to see how many and what quality before we decide on day3 or day5 transfer. We are going to go with what the embryologist advises will be the best option. Damn this all so unfair, well, it seems that way anyway.

Amps: i totally agree with the pressaries. I have finally finished them on Friday night! whop whop!!

btmac: how are you going? thats great news about your scan!! Oh god, i cant believe the fs started going on about all the next lot of tests, seriously! can we just be happy and not stress about the next thing that has to
    happen!!!

djturner06: welcome im sorry to hear about your BFN. I totally hear you about the emotional rollercoaster, im only new to it too and everytime i walked into the clinic, i felt like i was going to burst into tears, especially if i was by myself. best of luck with your FET in May

AFM: i am doing well i have my scan next Tuesday, the only bad thing is my dh will not be here for it. i feel that it will be fine, the pain has stopped altogether. on a good note, i have gone up 2 bra sizes! this is coming from a very flat chested person, DH is impressed, but they are totally untouchable!!! otherwise, im very tired but thats about it.

Has anyone got any nice Easter getways that they are doing over the 4 day weekend? i will be just lazing about at home as dh is still away.

djturner06 - welcome and sorry to hear of your BFN too. Just keep in mind that everyone's first IVF is basically a test run...you too will get a BFP one day...hopefully on your very next cycle

Ladies!! Thank you all so much for the support! You have no idea how much your advice has helped me in the last two days to cope with the disappointment and realise this is just the beginning and there is still very much a light at the end of the tunnel!! I am thinking about booking in for some acupuncture once a week for the next 6 weeks or so.... any advice you can offer? Is it worthwhile??
Best of luck to all of you and I have every faith that we will all get our happy ending sooner or later

    HI Ladies

btmac: If we get a bfp then I will be on pressaries, hcg and aspirin until 12 weeks, soooo looking forward to that. I am glad in 1 way that my dh will be away for half that time. I found a place I can buy panty liners in packs of three. I went through so many last month for my fet cycle, more than I need for af's visit. (sorry if tmi)

djturner06: I have been getting acupuncture and find it does help me. The lady I see specializes in fertility treatment and she is so understanding of the hell we go through. I know she can help improve the lining thickness, it's also possible to bring on af with acupuncture, also can help stop bleeding. I felt like I was doing something positive, felt more in control and less stressed. I would definitely recommend acupuncture, the lady I see is wonderful, reasurring but realistic also. She also said to keep my feet warm at all times, especially during and after transfer. To help build up my lining she advised I eat more dishes with bone marrow, like osso buco, lamb shanks, etc. On the day of your transfer you would have 2 sessions, one before and after, to help prevent your uterus from contracting.

Good Luck all, sending you all sticky thoughts

    Hi ladies,

btmac: I couldn't believe how yuck i felt when I had to do the pessaries for two weeks, let alone imagine having to do it for 12 weeks!!! No challenge too big for us strong women

Amps: Thanks for the advise, will definitely start acupuncture. I have my first appointment and consultation on Thursday 12th April and the place i'm going to see specialises in fertility which is great!

AFM: I'm feeling much better today after having a meltdown and then calming down and getting things into perspective. I'll receive a phone call from my FN later this week to discuss the next step for FET and am just waiting for AF to start hopefully in the next couple of days!!

    HI Ladies,

Shazzy: im sorry to hear about your BFN. i agree with btmac. sending you my thoughts and hugs

amps: my acupunturist suggested all of those too. I have been seeing her each week since Jan. Im becoming addicted. Im glad im with a really good health fund and i am still able to claim.. though i have little funds left. When do you start your stim cylce?

djturner: i totally agree with amps, acupuncture is soooo worth it, even it is for the mental sainity. last time i saw Kerri, i had just got off the phone to the fn and she said that i muight have an etopic pregnancy, i walked in their crying and after a hug and really good session, i walked out in a completly different midset.

btmac: i cant believe the amount of pessaries you are on!! im so not going to complain any more! the consequenses is what i struggled with the most... yuck! Oh i tried to no sugar diet.. i FAILED big time!!! good on you and im sure one little easter egg wont hurt

AFM: 2 more working days until 4 days off... bring it on! i plan on doing some gardening if the weather permits .
sending sticky thoughts and to everyone!

    Hi Ladies

Kahu: I had my day21 scan today so all is good, just waiting for af to arrive end of next week, going to give a little shove with acupuncture next wednesday, I can't get into Kerri as she is away until the 16th, so I've got an appointment with Julie instead at Awakening Therapies.

I had a little meltdown today after I picked up dh from the airport. When I was telling him about more of our friends and relatives being pregnant, I couldn't help but cry a little with frustration, despair and a little resentment. I am truly happy for them but it's just so hard to stay chirpy and happy when you feel like a failure. That moment has passed, at least for now. I have something positive to aim for. Our 'plan of attack' is about to start, if anyone has any advice on what more I could do, I will be only too happy to hear.
    Sorry for the pity stop!

    Sending you all sticky thoughts

Still in Bali at seminyak now lots of swimming bathing relaxing treatments and sad to say bintang beer too... Got Af on the flight to Bali... I knew it was coming still made me feel terrible but am hopeful for a get next week if not will start a fet with CFC instead!! Missing my hubby like mad and I can't wait to smooch him :-) lots of little bubs around our resort can't help but hope it to be me soon. All of us actually.

I have been running 5km a day eating healthy with the exception of the beer feeling very healthy fitter and better ten after the first cycle. I am hoping for any future attempts I can maintain my fitness an weight as I found it very hard to exercise as I felt so sore and sick I couldn't bear to run and go to bootcamp and I gained a whooping 5kg over 5 weeks!!!! Eek almost off now but still want to take off another 5 or so to save my knees the strain and ankles!!!

So would love to catch up when I am back with any of you. Let me know. Will check in now and then as our hotel we are now at has wifi free yay it's the small things aye!
