    Hi ladies,
    Hope you are all well.
Bella, how did the scan go? Fingers crossed xo
Welcome back sunny, hope you have better luck this cycle.
Well fs called me and wants to do a medicated fet, so just waiting for af to arrive. Has anyone had one of these? Were there any side effects?
    Xoxo

BlueMarlin Thanks. I did a Medicated FET and I felt pretty good the Progynova didn't make me feel any symptoms and the other one also didn't, until i started the crinone and progesterone which is when i got all my phantom symptoms...

My scan went well got a nice fast heartbeat bob wants me back in another 2 weeks and then i will referred on to an OB. So another TWW for me first the TWW then a Three WW and now another TWW but I will happily wait. My private health just sent me a congratulations card and a Miriam Stoppard book and I get weekly calls from a midwife starting tomorrow too as a fit and well program.

Good luck Sunny, Amps and Bluemarlin.

oh thats great news bella! I go for more bloods on thursday, i asked the nurse at CFC about my cramping and she said that progesterone doesnt really have too many side effects and that it could be pain from my uterus stretching, cant help but worry though! Its all over it's not in one spot so thats sorta good news. You would nearly be 7 weeks bella? or 8 weeks! im 5weeks 5days today i will be excactly 6 weeks for my next bloods!

stillfuntryin that is so strange they told you that it has barely any side effects - cramping is the second one mentions on the list of possible side effects on the information sheet folded in my box and both my FS and nurses both remind me not to worry about cramps but sharp pains with any blood are a concern. Good luck with your bloods. When will they scan you?

I am 7w1d today and in 13 more days will have a 9 week scan. Bob was great at my scan his wife Denise cried with me, both nurses were hugging me and the lovely girls behind the desk were wiping tears away too they admitted they had been tense all day waiting for our scan and were so relieved. Bless!

We are off to Townsville this weekend to watcht he Aus v NZ game.. I will be having a look at baby stuff not buying until we have the NT scanand results though. Have to run hope you are all well ladies.

Amps - How are you...how is your cycle going?

Bella - Im so happy that this pregnancy is travelling along well for you.

Stillfun - How are you coping with the pessaries...they are not fun, hey? Give me injections anyday over pessaries...ICKY!!!

Bluemarlin - I am currently doing a medicated FET....I have had a couple of them and I have had no problems what so ever.

Musicalgal - 3 more sleeps....I have a feeling we will be celebrating with you

    AFM
First scan and bloods today - Day 8: Lining = 7.1mm and Estrogen = 1300

7.1mm at day 8 is quite good for me, but my new FS had really hoped that it would be thicker at this stage. So, I remain on 1 x 400mg Trental per day, 3 x 4mg Progynova per day and on Day 10 (Sunday) I start 1 x 20mg Estrogen Pessary per day and 1 x 25mg Estrogen/Viagra Pessary per day and of course Cardiprin, Vit E and L-Arginine. I also have acupuncture booked for Monday afternoon….so hopefully by my next scan on Wednesday, all that will get me to the minimum 8.5mm (or more) that FS wants.

    Hi Ladies

Sunny15: I had epu today, 6eggs! My lining has been a problem for me also, it was 6.1 on Wed which was day10, I'm still using oestrogen and E2/viagra pressaries so hopefully it will keep getting thicker. Fs said it had thickened but wouldn't tell me how much, but I know its less than 8mm. I start progesterone pressaries tomorrow, yuck, I wish they were injections or something.
I hope this time works for you, sounds like you are on the right track.

Bellavista: Enjoy your weekend in Townsville, you deserve a break. I think we will have to all catch up soon.

MusicalGal: I have everything crossed for you, how are you feeling?

I'm a bit sore but not too bad. Fs checked my cervix and all looks good so the surgery was a complete success I will get a call from the clinic tomorrow with fert rate, then we have to decide on 2xday or 1x5day embryo.......I'm not sure what to do. Any thoughts on this anyone??
My 1st 2 attempts were all day3, none made to day5, which gave 3 with the first and 2 for the second from 6 eggs each time. I hope we can get more embryos this time. We won't do another epu so this time needs to be good. I will have 1500 pregnyl on day 16,19,22,25, final bt on 29th Oct. If we don't get any embryos we still have 2 in the freezer so we would use them. I need this time to work.......I want to hold my own baby in my arms.
I haven't told my family we are having another go, I just received an invitation to my cousin's daughter's 1st birthday, and she is pregnant again..........there will be at least 1 more baby and three more pregnant cousins there, oh joy!! I think I will go but not stay long. 2 of these pregnancies were "accidents", gosh that must be hard, sorry for the sarcasm there but hey, I am human.
Okay so I've had my vent now, take care all and hope you all have a great weekend!

Hi Amps....hun, I can hear the desperation in your voice....it is so awful wanting something so very bad and it takes its sweet time in happening.

Day 3 v's Day 5....its always a major major decision. I guess it comes down to are you willing to risk losing embryos trying to get to Day 5. Emotionally and financially will you be able to cope. How much are you willing to risk.

I would wait to see how many fertilise...if all or a good portion fertilise, I would then get a report from the Embryologist on how they are developing on Day 2, if possible, but in your case that is a Sunday, so I guess you will have to wait til Monday. If they are good strong embryos, discuss their chances of making it to Day 5 with the Embryologist. Transfer the strongest, whether that be 1 or 2....a good embryologist should be able to help you make an informed decision. I hope this helps but I know it is all easier said than done.

Keep us informed on the fert report tomorrow.

I was at the clinic a couple of times today...I could have said hello!!

Well, out of 6 eggs, 5 were mature and all 5 fertilised. If we got around 8 or more then they would advise going to blastocyst but I don't think we will take that chance. If we have 2 good day3s on Monday, then I will probably have them transfered then.

Sunny15: Are you blonde and were you wearing a pink shirt on Friday? I was there about 8:30 then again about 9:15 waiting for epu.

MusicalGal: what time is your bt on Monday? Are you working or having the day off?? Might see you there. They will sedate me again for transfer as I still get contact pain, looks like my cervix is always going to be a bit touchy. I hope this is the one for you. Did you transfer 1 or 2 and were they day3 or 5?

Hi Amps...congratulations, that is really good numbers...you must be so relieved that a good portion fertisilised. Now, lets just hope they develope well over the weekend and they are nice strong embies for transfer on Monday. Congratulations again....its a great outcome for EPU.

Yes, that was me yesterday. Which one was you?

Bummer- I just wrote a long reply and then lost it!! Grrrrr

    It said :

AMPS- Congrats!!!!! That's great work. I hope your little embies multiply all weekend. I will be there for my final BT at 8am. They usually don't get back to me til 2.30pm in the afternoon, torturous!! I'll go to work to pass the time quicker. If you have the older lady for transfer don't bother with having a full bladder as she doesn't use an ultra sound- just point and shoot. My emby was 8 cells, grade 3, so a strong little fella. I hope it took!

Sunny- Good luck on the next scan. I think Dr L is back on the 19th Oct.
