Amps - that is fantastic news, good luck on Friday.

My tests don't start till Friday so it wasn't me there (yet). I'll be the short red-head in a veterinary clinic work uniform . If we do cross paths, please say hello.

Sunny - Isn't the waiting the worst thing.

    Welcome Tropical Bub
Good luck with your appointment on Friday. From this forum, it sounds like CFC is really good and the FS will work around your body, which is great!

Sunny: Good luck with your appointment next week

Amps: one more sleep!!! Thats great that they are looking at a blasty... i believe that is why i fell pregnant, the FS said that it has a high success rate, so fingers crossed that everything goes well!!

AFM: im good, work has settled down. I have also realised that next time i go through a round of IVF and get another BFP (if im lucky) im so taking the first trimester off. All those hormones that you are putting into your body does not mix well with a very stressful, emotional job. I work in child protection and i feel that going through IVF and working totally impacted on me and its not worth the stress on my body and my developing emby. Anyway... im going well otherwise, i had my 10 week scan, all is going well, and after the next scan i will be referred to the ob. Im looking forward to this long weekend. ive had my Dh home because he injured himself at work, so its nice to have him home, but he flys out on Sunday, so he wont be here for the 12 week scan Im just going to have to take my mum.

I hope everyone is going well

Amps - Good luck for tomorrow...will be thinking of you....I am so excited for you.

Kahu - it seems like you are travelling along quite well after those first early pains....well done. It would have been nice for DH to be there for the 12 week scan, I bet he is really disappointed too. I guess there will be other opportunities.

    AFM
    5 more sleeps!!!

    Hi Ladies
Thanks so much for your words of support and encourgement. I'm getting excited and nervous and scared. I so want this to be the time that works. If it wasn't for people like you ladies, who are going through this exhausting journey also, I think I would've given up by now. My dh is great, but all the finer points go over his head a bit. I don't have any close friends who have tried ivf so I don't really have anyone I can talk to, except of course, all you lovely ladies.
Dh's family have all bred like rabbits and I know some of them are looking down at us, like we are failures. Good thing we don't talk to most of them now. Some of my family are very supportive but they do ask silly ill-timed questions, especially my mother. I love her but god some days I just want to slap her. It's to the point where I don't want to tell her or anyone close to me whats going on. Suddenly mum's an expert on ivf, wtf??!!
Sorry for raving on but I guess its better here than anywhere else.
My poor belly is black and blue and red. Where I gave the trigger shot last night has a red mark bigger than 50c piece, a bit swollen and sore to touch. I've been getting odd twingey crampy type feelings on and off, could be the durolax I had to take tonight. We will be up at 5am to get ready for the day. OMG! Please let me get a good number of good quality eggs!!!! sorry if tmi but its kinda funny to me that I know "exactly" what my dh will be doing at 10am tomorrow hehehe, wonder if the buff male embryologist will escort him to the "specimen" room again??

    Hi Ladies

Tropical Bub - Welcome, good luck with your journey I don't know much about OI as we have MFI and I tend to just be a poor responder to the medications.

Kahu - Good luck at your scan, it is sad your DH can't be there but fortunately you get more then the one he will miss record it on your phone or camera for him I am sure he will watch it many times. Have you any idea which OB you are planning to go to?

Sunny - Good Luck with your appointment. I hate the count downs i feel like every month we are on one for something..

Amps - As I previously posted good luck at EPU hope you recover quickly and you have a great Fert rate.

    AFM

I am exhausted after the funeral, had a major family fall out (regarding our IVF journey and my work) whislt there unfortunately and has left us very shaken and feeling pretty sad. In light of this we have told my parents, telling my DH's mother and partner too on Sunday and hopefully that will take the pressure off and they will understand.

Meanwhile whilst out of state for the funeral eagerly awaiting AF it came 6 days late... I started Jabbing on top of Sniffering Syneral which hasn't been to bad for me no real bad effects a mild headache almost like being dehyradted immediatly afterwards for a few hours. Now I am jabbing too I am exhausted. I keep telling DH I am very busy and important I am growing hopefully lots of eggs well at least more then 3 this time hopefully . Lots of rest this weekend I foresee.

My AF has been very strange and different, very heavy lots of clotting and no sign of easing at day 3.5 so far. I have kept up my running alternating between doing 4 and 5 km every 2nd day just to keep a baseline of fitness as last time i just couldn't and afterwards felt terrible.

    Have a great long weekend.

Amps - how did you go....how are you feeling? Cant wait to hear. I so know what you mean about the buff embryologist!!! Would you believe he goes to the same gym as me....I turned bright red when I so him walk through the door, considering he was looking right up my hoo haa last cycle...I should really worry though, he wouldnt recognise me....by face anyway!!!

Bellavista - How awful for you....funeral and falling out. Hon, you can do without all that stress. Think positive, positive, positive thoughts....if there is anything that I can do...just yell. I might not be able to keep up with you for 4 or 5 klm...actually, I more of a shuffler, but I try!!! Sounds like your body can do with some recuperation this long weekend....hope you and DH can spend alot of relaxing, chilling time together doing nothing or just doing things for yourselves. Take care

    Hi Ladies
Thanks for the kind words and support. I'm a little bummed out right now, I really was hoping for more eggs, but we only got 6 again. Clinic will phone tomorrow to tell me how many fertilized. Fs wants to do 3day transfer, embryologist and I want to do 5day. Might have to insist if embryologist still thinks its worth having a shot at, my 2- 3day transfers didn't work before, so makes sense to me to grow out a little longer, I had good quality before so I hope we get that again.
Had a fair bit of pain afterwards but not too bad now. Very tired and bit tender.I kinda feel lost now, no meds to take until tomorrow and wait for phonecall.

Hope you all are travelling well and looking after yourselves.

Amps - 6 is a good number....congratulations. Lets hope they are mature, good quality eggs and all fertilise. I always find the 24 hour wait for the fertilisation report the most stressful. 3day v's 5day....see how they develop and if you get 6 well developing embryos by Monday, I would push for blasties, although I guess they need to prepare the hospital side of things for a 3day transfer on Monday, if that ends up being the plan. Let us know your fert report tomorrow. Good luck and Im sending lots and lots of positive vibes for all 6 to fertilise a become strong little embies over the weekend

    Hi

Sunny15: Thanks, I can only wait now so am distracting myself with craft and stuff. Hopefully I will go to sleep soon, didn't get much last night. Pain got quite bad again so I've had to take more Tramadol. I'm doing ok
