The fridge beeps when I'm putting away groceries, and eventually turns itself off. Why the hell isn't there a "I'm-unpacking-groceries-leave-me-the-hell-alone" switch?

Im in hospital awaiting the birth of our bubba, the fiancé has gone home and apparently I'm supposed to get a 'decent' sleep on a mattress that's a quarter the thickness and size of my one at home with noisy, **** **** pillows and a poor excuse for a 'blanket'.
Add to my complaint list the quality of the loo paper.

Wow I really am a spoilt first world brat.

I need a new car to accommodate 3 children, but the car I want only comes in automatic and I've only ever owned manuals.
