Running with scissors, they would love your support. We have had lots of members of the community join us to wave flags, bring food etc. I'm taking two huge bags of lollies down to them tonight.

I'm sure you all know this already, but when the nurses walk out, they leave behind the same number of nurses that would be on a night shift, and coincidentally, the same numbers as proposed by the government in their EBA offers so far. Everyone has a pager or phone and return to work if needed. Some who return to work are then doing so for free, as their pay has already been docked for 4 hours.

Really Mrs Awesome? They were out at my local hospital the other day and I was so tempted to go down there, I told DH I was going, but then didn't want to seem like some weird nut It would be great for someone to organise a public rally on the steps of parliament to show that they have the support of most of the community behind them! I'd take my crutches and hobble down there!

I did hear that they are leaving behind the same numbers that 'Fail-you' ('cos thats what he does!) wants to bring in anyway. Its just so ridiculous!

I think there is something in the works in the way of a public rally.....I'll post if I hear of one.

Head on down to your local hospital, the would love to see you. A lot of those out the front of hospitals each day are actually friends and family of nurses or nurses on days off or holidays.
