Thanks to a car accident 8 years ago I have terrible back issues. The ergo is awesome! I have even worn my 17kg DD while shopping and barely had a twinge! I can wear my much lighter DS all day and not have any issues.

I also have a hug a bub which is great for around home when I'm trying to get things done. I can't use this as long as the ergo though, as it does hurt my back after a while. But it's still better than just walking around holding him in my arms. I get terrible back pain if I carry him for too long in my arms.
When your baby is all grown up will you really regret holding them so much, or regret not holding them more?

I'm so glad you have given the mandca a positive review! I bought it yesterday and am dying to get it! At 8kg, DD is too heavy for the Baby K'Tan and the Baba Sling is only good for short trips now.

DD slept in it all day today on daddies back, we were in the city and these Harley's drive past SO SO loud, she didn't budge!!! Because I'm small I love it on my back too cause it distributes the weight better and my shoulders don't hurt. I'll find a YouTube tutorial that really helped, you pull the side straps under your arms up to loosen for BFing... So so good!
