Default Buying a Bugaboo in America

    Hi Girls

My DF and I are going to America for our honeymoon and I am thinking of buying a bugaboo when we are there as they are so much cheaper than here.

Does anyone know how much a complete set (i.e newborn bassinet and pram) weighs in the box?

Is this a bad idea ? I'm worried I might get twins due to possible needing clomid. Low risk i know but still.

The warranty is apparently valid in Aus if bought in America.

    Thanks

    Blue

I actually recommend buying from Sweden, I bought my donkey off a Swedish site for less than $1000. Shipping is only 16 Euros-- much easier than trying to bring something back with you.

I bought both my bugaboos in the US and brought them back as checked luggage. Amazon sells Bugaboos and lists both the shipping weight and dimensions of all its products so you can get that info from Amazon. Because I wasn't traveling with a baby I had to pay to check them as an extra bag because I was already using my checked bag allowance. The price difference on both Bugaboos paid for my return fare

And, yes as for warranty - there was a recall on wheels for the Bee last year and it was no problem getting it sorted locally.
